Just wanted to say a big Thank You to Ken and all the others aboard who've taken us along on this cruise. The pics,  tidbits of info, and patters has been very enjoyable to read each day.

Things are coming along. We're at the 2 week mark. Everything has been paid for, final contracts signed, and now its last minute hair and nail appts, picking up our suit and dress and avoiding people as much as possible.  Our covid test is the 25th. 

Here's hoping for a negative outcome🤞

I have a question, forgive me if it seems rather silly. Is the UBD only available to certain individuals in certain balcony cabin rooms, or can anyone purchase?  If it's open to all, where do they put you?

My fiance' is a big fan of tawny ports. If anyone onboard happens to be in Vines or another bar would you mind asking if they have a specific one called "Sandeman"  in stock? Its a 30 year old port and he'd love to sit and have a glass at night while people watching. If that isn't available any suggestions for something else would be much appreciated.

I know the regular antigen tests given by a nurse are accepted. But this type of antigen test says it may not be accepted for travel. That is my concern🙂

I've noticed our CVS is offering Rapid antigen test with provider.. It says this type of test may not be suitable for travel. 

Has anyone happen to know if this specific type of test is approved by the cruise lines? We'd hate to do one and get to the pier only to be rejected for not having it 'performed' by an accepted health care individual

Yes, the Horizon Court is up on the Lido Deck 15 in the aft. As we usually don’t eat up there I just went up and first turned left and took some pictures. BTW it’s 10 pm at night as as you can see it was pretty quiet up there.

Sounds like you've got everything under control. That's awesome. It must feel like such a relief to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

From what we can tell, we are on schedule as well. Waiting on the final paperwork from  Princess cruises then we can make our wedding day timeline.  Fiance's suit came in but pants were a bit too big so they're tailoring them just a bit more. Should be ready in another week or so. My final dress fitting is this Wed then it just needs to be steamed and picked up a few days before we leave. 

Printed out all our paperwork for wedding ceremony, cruise, flights, hotel and we're good to go as far as pre-check in on our cruise app. 

I actually did a dry run with the packing this weekend. If we both get a little creative between the two of us,  we should be able to get everything into our 2 big suitcases and carryons🤞.

Starting the 9th we're going into what we call 'wedding lockdown'. Not going anywhere that isn't absolutely necessary, wearing masks when we have to, avoiding everyone we can and hoping for a negative result when we test on the 25th. 

If I don't see you on here again before you leave, I want to wish you a wonderful wedding day!!. I hope it's everything you two have been dreaming of and you take away so many memories:)

Would you, or perhaps someone else sailing be able to take a pic of the laundry services and prices, and how long it takes to get something back after sending it out? We're specifically interested in the pressing services for our dressier clothes.

It looks like the crew serves you while in the IC, have you happened to go through the buffet area yet? Are they also serving folks or has it gone back to self serve?

Your bil should contact princess directly to make them aware of what he would like to do. If he looks on Princess's website under weddings tab  it will give him all the wedding ceremony options they offer and a phone number to speak with a representative. From there they will be able to assist him with any questions he may have. 

We're doing a legal wedding next month and  had to pick our ceremony, sign the wedding contract, pay for the wedding in full up front,(this doesn't include the food, cocktail hour, flowers, etc-just the ceremony itself) and then they will give him access to their Dream Wedding Planner. Here he will make all his choices for the ceremony, flowers , music, vows, dining etc from the different drop down tabs. He will then either communicate with the online wedding coordinator by message through the dream planner or personal email.  We were also told once we board the ship there will be an 'in-person' wedding planner to take over and help make things run smoothly for the wedding day. 

Sooner he does it  the better. There's lot's of paperwork and uploading of documents.

Thanks so much for all the great info. If you have a moment could you see if they left one of those little blue tote bags in the room?  We had one on our trip in Jan on Regal hanging up in the closet  and were hoping there was one this time around also.

Has anybody been able to find out what they have been doing to spruce her up? I believe they were working on the engines? (correct me if i'm wrong)  but i'm curious what else they have addressed.

We sail Sat May 28th and the wedding is Monday the 30th. The first 'at sea day' .. 

So far so good with the flights. We're on Delta and as of today no changes to them which is good .. i'm keeping my fingers crossed🤞
