  1. So you do not really care. LOL. In this case I would just let them know I do not need them. They most definitely find next taker We do not sell ours Anthem November 2021, Oasis May 2022, Anthem November 2023. I am surprised people buy on Ebay or anywhere else other people Crystal blocks. Why? They are recognition for reaching certain milestone.
  2. We got 2 onboard and for one we filled a request and followed with a call after return. Several calls. Received it after 8 months
  3. This was our experience. Also many of Ps are much older folks so if they enjoy wearing pins I am happy for them.
  4. We had this situation with block #2 on Oasis in May 2022. We waited about 8 months before receiving it. We called to check several times. #1 and #3 were received right on the ship.
  5. In our experience you need to check if crystal block is in your room during 140pt, 210pt, 280pt etc sailing. If it is not and you want it you need to ask LA and if there are no blocks available on the ship you can fill special form so they will send it to you.
  6. We do not wear pins. They are in our albums about cruising (1 album per approx 10 cruises) together with room keys, programs, tickets and other artifacts. Nobody except us even sees albums usually. From what I noticed in this thread... people conflate wearing pins with some other issues (or maybe not issues, but what they consider to be issues). Yes, there are pinnacles who wear pins and behave differently or wear something not up to your liking. There are pinnacles or any other people who do not wear pins and behave differently or wear something not up to your liking. No need to find something weird about people who wear or do not wear pins. There are no connections. 🙂
  7. Somehow I suspect issue was not with a pin, but with " the tightest trunks I have ever seen anyone wear". Am I correct?
  8. Interesting reading comprehension issues. Let me try again. I don’t need your pin. I have mine for years. All except Pinnacle. People like their (not yours) pins for various reasons. It seems like some people are upset about it. Quite a phenomenon.
  9. There are changes. You no longer have Happy Hour with unlimited liquor + 3 vouchers during this time from limited menu. You get 4 vouchers during whole day from unlimited menu at any bar under $14. HH is still held in Crown (not Diamond) lounge, but no unlimited drinks. If there are too many Diamonds and up you won’t have access during this time.
  10. Is this an attempt at humor? Weak. Why would anyone bid on other people pin? Just like on other person’s crystal block? Just because you have no use for them or are not interested … doesn’t mean other people shouldn’t. People collect them as memories. Personal memories. If you are not interested you shouldn’t make a big deal out of it. Just return it to C&A concierge, they will give to the next person 🙂
  11. I drink wine between cruises. 🙂 We quit hard liquor between cruises, but I still drink this wine.
  12. Seriously? How long you have been sailing with RCI? Not sure how it is now, but even recently pins were able from Gold level. Asking why somebody wants it is a very strange question. People want various things. Do you ask why people want pizza, internet, drinks, shows etc ?
  13. We had 4 in 2021, 5 in each 2022, 2023 and 2 in 2024 and one on Celebrity Edge Anthem, Liberty, Oasis, Enchantment, Vision I admit we do not cruise for gourmet experience, but we do not eat in Golden Corral types of establishments on land either. As long as there is a selection of seafood, escargot, stake, salmon, etc we are happy. I often skip entries and eat 2-3 starters. 🙂 On our recent Vision cruise we had amazing Osso buco. Things like this is a nice bonus. Enjoy cruising! My parents are not big fans of cruises, but occasionally take one to explore various regions. Out of Princess, NCL and Royal they preferred Princess in terms of food. Recently they sailed with Oceania and said that food was fabulous.
  14. We started cruising with Royal in 2004 and never found food to be consistent. In fact first four cruises 2004 Splendor, 2007&2009&2010 Explorer food was I think weaker than now. Overall menus have changed, but it’s still very good food. We never considered RCI to be a line with great food, but always find nice dishes
  15. Norwegian is different line. They are not re-using names for their ships on a regular base. Yes, PoA was never really fully built so they used it for another ship. Princess, Holland America and now Carnival re-use names. I do not have any pros or cons this practice.
  16. We sailed on Splendor and I think Splendor & Legend were somewhat different than the rest of them. Viking Crown lounge was more to the middle and there was mini golf behind it. It’s also interesting that class is called Vision when Vision ship is one of the youngest. It’s like calling Oasis class Utopia class. 🙂
  17. I wish they reused Splendor of the Seas rather than used Star of the Seas … I think Holland America and Princess started reusing names first.
  18. On Vision concierge in Crown lounge was there till 11 and from 4 pm onwards
  19. Information about Flag of convenience https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_convenience
  20. He was just on Vision... which went to dry dock this week.
  21. Yes. He was on Vision with us in March (23rd). We loved him!!! So talented. Whole lounge entertainment performers were amazing!
  22. Servers do their jobs pretty well from our experience and if not this is not because of small performances 😉 Royal's experience is pretty much entertainment experience just like other similar family lines. This does not happen on Celebrity, Holland, Cunard.
  23. We witnessed it on several ships when dined during assigned early/late times (not MTD, but sometimes it coincides). It is cute. Does not bother us at all, but I can understand people with sensory issues. I cannot imagine how people with such issues survive on ships...
