  1. I get that the pixel price is $35. But if I have bought the specialty dining package, izumi is included. I'm just confused that the website says it covers $20 food for a lar carte restaurant. So is izumi considered a la carte?
  2. I know the specialty dining package covers $35 pp to eat in Izumi or Teppanyaki, plus another $10 surcharge. However, I noted that when I purchased the package a while ago, the website says it covers $20 food cost. So did RCL increased the price? With the $10 surcharge, and covering only $20 food, this would make eating at Izumi ($35 - $20 + $10) = $25 pp. Which is not much of a deal. Hope someine can clarify. I'm really hoping to try the Izumi and the Teppanyaki. Thanks!
  3. One more question and this may sound weird....my husband favorite pasta dish is Fettuccini Alfredo, do they have something similar in Rome?
  4. Thanks for the great tip! Our meeting place is: At the flower stand corner of Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Leone IV. I am still googling to figure out the distance and route between the meeting point to your suggestion 🙂
  5. Sorry if this has been discussed before, anyone has a suggestion for a dinner restaurant for a Friday early evening around 5pm that is very close (walking distance) to the Vatican? A modest restaurant (good pasta/pizza) but not ultra expensive. - We have a Vatican night tour scheduled at 6:45 pm, and would like to have dinner before the tour, and within close walking distance to the tour meeting spot (I assume it's close to the entrance). - Also I know the service is slow (compared to speedy service here in the States), so is 5 pm dining time sufficient to get to our Vatican tour at 6:45pm (allowing for walking time) Thank you in advance!
  6. The curry looks good! I didn't know you can go off menu, so how did she come to this curry pick, or was it suggested by the wait staff? Thanks
  7. Reading through the pre-cruise testing document on the MSC website. It talks about needing the "lab administered Covid test". Does anyone know what this means? Will they still accept the emed proctored test? Thank you!
  8. Talking about as clear as mud 🙂
  9. I think there are many places that are still showing conflicting information. An example is in the FAQ. Give it some tine. RCL should be able to correct all of the places to correct in a few days or in the week 🙂
  10. That's not true. Like I say, it's very tricky. Are you clicking on the EXACT place per my screenshot where it says - if YOU SALI ON OR AFTER SEP 5, 2022, THEN CLICK ON ITALY? You are required to take the test 3 days before, but self test is accepted - for 10 NIGHTS OT MORE (which transatlantic will fall in this range)
  11. Here;s the actual link" https://www.royalcaribbean.com/the-healthy-sail-center/getting-ready-to-cruise
  12. ALso, this is the screenshot if you embark from Rome. I just pick one of the destinations here:
  13. It's sneaky. it;s there. You need to pick the specific country you are embarking from, and it will reveal a link:
  14. By default, your booking o board is automatically transferred to the TA who booked your current Celebrity cruise that you are sailing on. However, you can always request to NOT transfer it to the TA (albeit signing a paper just like someone has mentioned above). Then the booking will belong to Celebrity. When you get home, you can still contact another TA that you like, and have this booking be transferred to them. As long as they do not change the booking number (which they don't), you will still get all of the OBC and whatever goodies promised when you made that booking, plus probably additional goodies from this new TA.
  15. Got it, thanks! Clear as mud now 🙂
  16. Example, we transferred $1000 from room to casino. Only wagered $200. So can I still cash out the remaining $800 from the casino cashier? They can't freeze my money and not allow me to use the remaining $800, right? I'm just confused.
  17. That's good to know that CK is open during lunch on embarkation day. . Just wasn't sure if we have to go to Windjammer on the 1st embarkation day for lunch. Thanks.
  18. How do they freeze your account...like you cannot spend at all....would you help clarify? Thanks!
  19. Does Grand Suites (which is a Sky Class Suite) get to eat lunch on embarkation day at the Coastal Kitchen? Thanks in advance!
  20. By the way, @VMatty, did you find the Coastal Kitchen menu to be repetitive? (since you mentioned that you would have switched to the 3 or 5 night)
  21. Thank you, this is so helpful. Will see if/which suite class we may end up with 🙂
  22. Thanks. That would be okay. Do you know if the Cruise Planner is still open though when it gets so close to the sail date? I wonder if it would need to be done on board at the customer service?
