  1. Heck. I'd be more worried about the fact you're boarding right after landing from a 14-hour flight. Many times I've had my Auckland flights delayed.
  2. Why don't you do the ultimate tour - which includes it all?? https://www.rocktoursgibraltar.com/packages
  3. https://italytoursharing.com/ports/naples-port That's the company we've used 4 times for a number of Ports. When we did the Naples port - they took us to Pompeii & Positano (they offer other options for Naples as well). They were excellent.
  4. He doesn't drink much soda. Give him the $100 and tell him he can pay for what he wants and he'd be much happier!!
  5. Hi. All depends on what your interests are. If you're into the thrill-seeking stuff like bungy-jumping.. shotover jet etc.. or other things like wineries etc. Seeing the area is probably the big attraction. Will you have a vehicle?
  6. Being honest.. the NZ people don't (would say most don't want them in the country at all). But the government.. they want the money and the Fiords are a big draw-card. There's got to be more to that story. In the end.. the short-answer is cruise-lines need to get their acts together or they won't be going there.
  7. E.g. Athens at the moment for the next 10-days has highs mostly from 17-20 and lows from 8-14. You wouldn't swim in that.. but you would use the balcony till early evening I would think.
  8. As we're in March.. use the app on your phone to see what the temperatures are doing at the moment.. 🙂
  9. No unfortunately. It was a 1-off for a very luck winner of the competition (staying at Hobbiton)! Don't know why they don't make it a thing.. it would be amazing 🙂
  10. If your cruise ends in Auckland - fly down to Queenstown would be a far better idea if you can extend the holiday (and probably cheaper).
  11. $50. That's pathetic. They really need to get their act together.
  12. There's some amazing "great rides" in NZ. However, most are not near the ports. You can probably hire bikes near the ports.. but you'd be riding on the roads which isn't ideal. Wellington would be nice riding along the foreshore.. but I wouldn't ride into the city. There's hires there - https://switchedonbikes.co.nz/
  13. Are you looking at one that lets you off and then picks you up in Dunedin?
  14. Long-story-short.. it's really irrelevant which way you cross the Tasman.. 🙂
  15. Seriously?! Have you looked at a map?! You're at sea the whole time with nothing to see but sea.. lol!
  16. Meh. They posted on Friday and haven't replied since. Just an out of date, out of touch whinger would be my initial thoughts. Probably did one of those few-days long, teaser cruises during school-holiday time.. and surprise, surprise.. there were lots of families on. Lots of families on is good.. means the average age ain't 100+ like some princess snooze-cruises.. 😆
  17. I did not know that. That's interesting. Thank you. Yes.. will get an auto - I thought the explanation from John Bull of trying to use the door handle or arm rest to change gears was very good.. haha 🙂
  18. They charge you more for auto?? Just about everything would be auto these days anyhow?
  19. Yeah ok. But heck.. talk about "sweating the small stuff" as they say.
  20. The price is getting steep now! US $39 I was told? $35 for Sabatinis?
  21. For real?! Over a couple of free drinks and some free laundry that you could pay for.. you back out based on that?! They've got you suckered.. lol.
