  1. Can someone please tell me if the aft facing Penthouse Suites on the Sky Princess have electrical outlets in the lamps on the nightstands? Or, where else are they located? I am trying to decide if I need to take extension cords with me as I sleep with a fan at night. Thanks in advance for your help.
  2. I hope not as we were originally told we would be stuck with the $12 so we upgraded to the "new" plus.
  3. I don't agree with this at all. Gratuities are $18 per day. 3 glasses of wine @$15 a day and I am already ahead of the game. Not to mention having the internet available to me.
  4. I edited our bid "up the bid" after I had placed initial bid. Good luck. I am thrilled with our upgrade.
  5. For what cruise?? We were upgraded last Friday for 3/18 cruise.

  7. I believe the new rule went into effect either 2/24 or 2/25.
  8. There is no longer a matter of "accepting" it or not. If you submit a bid and it is accepted, your credit card will be charged immediately.
  9. I assumed you book a roundtrip with EZ Air. If I was in your shoes, I would make sure the return wasn't cancelled also. Sometimes they figure if you did not make the original flight (and it was not rebooked for a later date) you won't need the return. This is not always the case but has happened to us in the past.

  11. Has anyone stayed in the mini suite cabin M106 on the Sky Princess (or any other forward facing cabin on Marina deck)? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  12. Could someone please tell me what the space shown on deck plan for Sky Princess is between cabins L101 and L102 (also the same on Marina Deck)? If you have stayed in either room, would you tell me the good/bad? Thanks in advance.
  13. If your connection is anything like ours, 1 1/2 hours is certainly not long enough. If it takes your luggage as long to get you as ours did, it will, in fact, be impossible.
  14. That is a scary thought and a primary reason COVID is continuing to spread!!
  15. I am on the Regal now (and have been for the 2 prior weeks). I think “she” looks quite good but I am not one that goes around looking for a little rust here or there, a small stain on the carpet, or a smudge on the mirror that might not have been wiped off in the last 30 minutes. I find a crew that appears to be working very hard to make the passengers happy and think they have succeeded quite well in my opinion. I have encountered quite a few of the workers to be from the Ukraine. When you consider most of them to still have family in the Ukraine (or family that has migrated to Poland), they still put a smile on their face and do everything in their power to make everyone’s cruise as pleasant as they humanly can. Of course, I see people being rude to the staff and complaining about things, but they are probably those that complain ALL THE TIME about something and the Good Lord himself could not make them happy. If you get on the Regal and expect to have a great time, you will. However, if you get on and try to find things to complain about, I am sure you can find those things also. As is true of life, IT IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT! I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 23 days of being on the Regal.
