One of the guys at our hold'em table was the kind of gambler who is always acutely focused on all the action in the casino...

It was around 1am, the casino had slowed down earlier than usual, so in the non-smoking casino we were down to about 20 table players and 10 slots players...

Late night pizza, yummmm...

I had 5 meals today, and gave guy's burgers another try at lunch. I still don't think they're very good.

Crazy night in the casino, but first let me catch up on dinner and randomness...

I'm wearing shorts but I haven't seen anyone else. Fair number of women wearing heavy sweaters and even coats indoors. It's pretty cool outside but Lido deck is comfy since it's covered. Casino smoke is about tied with the worst I've ever experienced. You can see the clouds of smoke and smell it even outside the casino. They do have the tiny non-smoking casino but it's hard to find a seat, tables or slots, until late night. Still having a great time though. I've been alternating between limoncello and grey Goose, thg that helps. 😁 🏴‍☠️

Last time I was on this ship I was suspended and my LIVE died, hopefully it's just a glitch and not me again.

I didn't attend this event my first 2 Diamond cruises but I think I will tomorrow.

I had lunch at La Strada grill. Except for the sauces at the end of the buffet line, everything could b ed found at Lido Marketplace. Nothing special but not bad. For example, the Italian Sausages taste like a bargain brand you'd pick up at local grocers freezer section. I did like the animated digital wall art of Palazzo Ducale and Bridge of Sighs.

I wound up at Lido Marketplace for dinner. Salmon was very good, thanks for the suggestion.

Sailaway, passing lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty...

Sailaway starting so I caught a few pics of Intrepid. Before someone asks, no the ship wasn't named after me. Not THAT old.

Fun, American Style. The two largest venues showing Super Bowl, Lido seaside theater and Teatro Rosso. All the casino TVs are tuned in too. Casino is smoky hell except for the non-smoking casino-closet. Sure, they have a fancy name for it, "casino annex" but I know a closet when I'm in one.

Fun, Italian Style

The atrium is beautiful but not huge. The symbol of Venice, the winged lion, apparently is not impressed with the string trio and appears to either be mooning them or ready to take a dump.

Deck 5 is inviting and I'll be revisiting each of the bars during the cruise. I don't get first-name basis with the bartenders to the point I have favorites or remember their names next time I see them, but I remember faces.

There is a spacious outdoor seating area all the way aft, and deck 5 also has an outdoor promenade on both port and starboard sides. No pic cuz it was cold and I'm in shorts.
