  1. "Sir I see your hands are full with ice, let me get your floor for you. You on 14 or the next floor up, 178?"
  2. Anybody watching the game? Home field advantage all the way to SF. And nobody needs home field advantage like we do.
  3. Not just a Texas Great, an American Great. I'm so happy he had one last GREAT hurrah with Traveling Wilburys. Imagine if that band had stayed together for ten years or more. The video of just his guitar in the rocking chair when it's his turn to sing his part of End Of The Line tears me up almost every time. What an amazing, unassuming supergroup. I'm a huge Beatles fan and to me the Traveling Wilburys are right up there, if only there were more songs. And then all Roy's singles on top of that. RIP Roy, you are missed!
  4. I think it's just the MDR where the omelettes are limited to the menu, at least on my last cruise.
  5. Shoulda super-imposed a pic of TexTeach over that one! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ
  6. Wow! Thanks, so the rumor wasn't true! Anyway, I haven't seen it on shelves for a year or so. And it was a liquor store employee who told me it was no longer. But I just googled it and see that they just changed the bottle and that there was a shortage.
  7. Maker's 46 used to be my favorite affordable bourbon. I'm pretty sure they stopped making it, sadly.
  8. I don't know. I can't be the only one who thinks it looks half sunk.
  9. I'll be on Venezia out of Manhattan to a few new islands (new for me) in February, really looking forward to itinerary (see signature).
  10. Just remember, miracles really do happen... it's a miracle vanished like a fart in the wind - Google Search
  11. That song reminds me of another classic "Havin' My Baby"... can't remember who did it - Circle Jerks?
  12. It's yummy, not as great as some of the high-end Teppanyaki restaurants if you've been to any, but really good food and great value IMO. And fun!
  13. Great pic and please remember pics of all the food with comments! TIA.
  14. Eating in the dark can be both a unique and enjoyable experience as you don't have your eyes telling your brain what to expect as the fork enters the mouth, so your tastebuds-brain experience is heightened. Dining in the Dark in DC: A Blind Tasting Experience (dininginthedarkexperience.com)

  16. We tried it once and we enjoyed the galley experience including amuse bouche but the sit-down dinner, although very nice preparation and presentation, was disappointing. The quality of the food was somewhere between MDR and Steakhouse - I expected something better than Steakhouse, something more akin to a dinner at Daniel in Manhattan.
  17. Thanks for the heads-up! I usually do land-only reviews on TripAdvisor, and just about individual restaurants, tours, etc. but I'll take a look.
