  1. Now...you're talkin'! Cheers! ðŸĨ‚
  2. Oh yes....love the "boil and fry". 😄
  3. You are most welcome....and once again, congrats on turning D+! 🙂
  4. Totally agree. Our exploring has brought us to Viking. We are very much enjoying that line. 🙂
  5. Drats....we never received the Emerald pin. 😉
  6. Aww...I remember how exciting it was to turn D+ at the time! Of course way back when we did that, the D+ were allowed in the Concierge Lounges. 🙂 Ahhh..I remember the times. 😉 And that extra internet time, plus the extra bottle (bottles?) of wine...much appreciated.
  7. Naturally...being Cruise Critic...you will get mostly "unhelpful" answers to your question. Sorry about that. The actual answer is...yes, you can receive the pin, and no reason not to wear it if you want to. If you don't get it...simply go to see the Loyalty Ambassador on board and ask for one. They keep plastic baggies on hand of the pins. Though as "Doghog" pointed out...you will not be officially D+ until your points are awarded until after the cruise is complete (5-8 days later) of which you turn the new level. But that does make the next cruise that much sweeter! Enjoy, and congrats on turning D+! 🙂
  8. I actually get a kick out of all the hitchhiker birds that hang out in the lush gardens of Central park on the Oasis class ships. Apparently they fly in on one port and out the other? Stowaways for sure. Then again...a lot of "bird song" is piped in also. 😉
  9. Oh my....I humbly bow to you. Wish I could do that (the weight loss that is)! 😉 Good for you! GF? Gluten Free? My sister is on that...since she has Celiac disease. Not much choice for her there. Actually a lot of the gluten free choices are pretty good on the ship. She loves the gluten free pizza at Sorrentos!
  10. LOL...Yeah, I forgot about that. I have one of those those hand held luggage scales. Hook it onto the suitcase, lift...grunt with effort...and check the stats. For some reason Bucky's suitcase is always heavier than mine. Go figure. 😄
  11. Oh no....I don't even own a scale. It would be the demon that lives with us.....we tossed it back into the fires of hell. 😄 😄
  12. Not only given 6 vouchers a day...as Pinnie...but the full WC cruisers and the quarterly cruisers (Bucky and I) get unlimited drink package as part of the package program. OMG...and each mini segment they insist on giving us another 3 bottles of wine in our cabin. Urggle...burgle. 😄 😄 AA and Weight Watchers will probably get a lot of new members. ðŸ˜ē
  13. Doing that first quarter (63 nights) on the World Cruise...ummm...yeah. ðŸĪŠ Oh no...I have another 62 nights coming up for 4th quarter in July. OMG....where is the local AA chapter. 😄
  14. I just pretend I am on Utah time....versus Florida time. Will feel like I am having dinner much later!! 😄 😄
  15. Ooooh...I love that 3 hour thing....though half of the calories I am consuming there....is actually of the liquid libation thing. 😄 😄
  16. He does look happy though. 😄 😄
  17. And when there is a lack of toilet paper.....
  18. Aww...thanks! ðŸĪ— Funny....but no. I was posting my experience of simply hopping a flight to get to Sydney to board Venus for the circumnavigation of Australia in a few months. Then hop off for an overnight to connect to Orion to tour NZ. Flying back from Auckland after that. I have just returned from a World cruise doing the Chilean Fjords and Antarctica, circumnavigating all of South America. Wonderful trip. 🙂 Ushuaia, was one of my favorite ports.
  19. I very often will cash the rest out to add to our additional cash tips, over the already prepaid tips.
  20. From the Surety Company. Two different names, Hornblower and Argo.
  21. LOL...I love that song! Thanks for the smiles! 😉
  22. Agree. It really is terrible we have to go through all of this, when it should just be automatic that they refund our money. So sorry I ever booked this this company. They were a PITA from the very beginning. ðŸ˜Ą
  23. Indeed. The Viking Crown Lounge itself is our "go to" lounge for happy hour. Even though we had access to the separate Concierge Lounge on EX...we preferred to sit at the VCL bar. 😉
