  1. Had already explained that...but... 😵 Don't worry girl......we get it. 😄
  2. Higher minds rule....and telepathy never needed. 😄 😄
  3. Totally agree. That is the main reason I wait until just a couple of days before final payment date to pay the cruise off. Had a price drop when I paid in full 2 weeks earlier than final, called to get it adjusted...then it was many weeks before they finally sent in the refund. Ughh...easier to reduce balance owed before you pay it.
  4. Both the CL and the DL on Jewel, (and all four Radiance ladies) are on deck 13, AKA Viking Crown Lounge deck. If the CL is not open (and 99% chance it won't be), you could simply hang out in the "open to all" Viking Crown Lounge next door. It's a nice quiet lounge with a great view from floor to ceiling windows. That is what we do, and we are suites/Pinnacle.
  5. The CL concierge, (and DL concierge) make additional income on tips. Empty lounge...empty pockets.
  6. You can take the short shuttle ride, but it is actually a very easy walk to Barefoot Beach (Suites Beach).
  7. Before the new pier went in at Labadee, that spot had a cute little uncrowded beach with great snorkeling in clear shallow water with a lot of tropical fish. Walking to the far end of Coco Cay on the nature trail, we came out at the end with the " high point" that usually had a couple of chairs and a Tiki umbrella. Lots of Peacocks and Iguanas along the way. A great spot to sit and look out over the short cliffs for a wonderful view of the ship anchored off shore. All gone now. Fast forward to all the changes...we simply get off the ship for a walk around/a little exercise, picking up a Coco Loco or Labadoozie (same drink BTW)...then return for an uncrowded quiet lunch on the ship.
  8. I miss Grand Cayman. 😞 But am happy about Serenade to Bimini in 2 weeks! 🤗
  9. ????!! When is the last time you were at Coco Cay? Has not been a tender port for years now.
  10. There was no choice for "neither". IMHO....Both used to be really nice, natural and pretty...which was before the pier went in at Labadee, and the "Disneyfied" theme park went in at Coco Cay. Now...Mother Nature has left the area. 😞 If I want theme park...I will drive to Orlando...don't need to pay for it on a ship. 😑
  11. No...no reservations needed. Could prepay, but we never do....just pay as you enter. B2B? 😉
  12. Funny story someone told us about the chocolates on the pillow. He did not notice them there when he came back from a party night. Crawled into bed, and then woke up in the morning to see the melted "chocolate" marks all over the sheets. 😳😱😲
  13. No Broadway shows on Wonder. RCI is starting to do away with them. Odyssey does not have them either.
  14. Not a "bubbly" fan. I bought what should have been a nice bottle of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Corked. Very sad. 😞
  15. Oh...and those cute little ribbon tied gift packs waiting for us in the cabin from C&A. Sigh....now it's yesterday's leftover WJ cookies. 😛
  16. Brand new ship Wonder...no drying line in the shower...even in our Grand Suite. This has gone bye-bye with chocolates on the pillow. 😄
  17. You as well! Have a time share booked in Orlando for the week, which started last Saturday, but we only need it for three nights. Leaving to go there tomorrow morning, then leave early on Friday. Doing this to have plenty of room to spread out for my sister and her hubs to stay over night with us for Turkey Day...our little house is too tiny, and in fact replaced the guest bedroom with an office, that is next on the remodel list. Right now it is housing "garage sale reject" furniture for desks. 😛 One thing about a one bedroom house...not too many distant relatives coming to see us for a cheap vacation near the "land of the mouse". 😄 😄 They are also cruising with us out of San Juan on what will be our 3rd leg (2/12) Voyager. No wine being carried on there this year. 😉 Yes...I will have my duck tape with me...and yes we are flying Jet Blue again. 😱😮
  18. It was totally nuts coming off the TA just over a week ago. We finally cleared the nightmare of the customs check, only to run into mass craziness outside with pax clogging the outside terminal area, lining up to check in at 9:30 am!! Was not fun trying to get through them just trying to catch our pick up service. Way...way too many pax arriving too early. Guessing last week was totally sold out. Not surprised if they are overbooked.
