  1. Your check in time is printed boldly on your set sail pass.
  2. You say you have only been in CK/SL 3 times? It has been packed when we have eaten dinner there for over 3 weeks now. We have 5:30 reservations during the TA, and had 6 pm during the first two weeks before. Have eaten dinner and breakfast in there every day. SL is very busy just before first seating at 5:30. Since Solarium Bistro is Pinnacle only breakfast, El Loco Fresh has opened up for about the same breakfast buffet food that Solarium had. They are not usually open for breakfast, but are for this C&A heavy TA. It is a nice set up, and many are using it. We loved take out lunch there. I am Pinnacle. See a lot of Pinnacles in CK and the SL (and those are just the ones wearing badges). But we are all suites guests. As many say...want to be guaranteed suite privileges for a C&A heavy cruise? Book a suite. TAs are notoriously heavy with Pinnacles....as will be the first sailing out of PC on the 13th (which we are not on).
  3. Cruising several times on Harmony post Covid. When they ask to see your set sail pass, your check in time is printed boldly on that form. Since we always arrive at our designated time, have no idea if we would have been turned away by arriving early. But did see "cattle gates" set up with time signs shown on them. Will be interesting coming in on Sunday. First time Wonder in PC, and of course will be delays as this ship in coming in from European embarkation. The crew is dreading the process of immigrations for them on Sunday morning.
  4. RCI, as all lines, has no control over the workings of Mother Nature. It is not a fail in the service they are offering...it's just "act of God" type thing. I would think refunding port fees is a given...but refunding part, half, or all of the cruise due to a storm beyond their control? Ship still has costs with the food, fuel, wages, etc...etc. Even if they miss a port. In fact probably more cost when everyone is on the ship "eating their money's worth" (as I seem to notice in the WJ). I just figure..."poop happens".
  5. We are currently on Wonder. 210 Pinnies on this TA...about the same as usual, maybe even less. On the first two weeks before the TA there were 19 on the first one (upper Tier in Music Hall), 93 on the second one (upper tier in Aqua theater). Pinnacles allowed in SL, and a two night max in CK during those two weeks. Now...non-suite Pinnies are not allowed into CK or the SL at all, and not keyed into them. The Solarium Bistro is a nice set up for all three meals, Pinnacles only (can't fit them all into Chops for breakfast). And the Music Hall is very nice for happy hour (huge display of happy tisers, much more than the SL). Music Hall was set up for the 93 Pinnacle week as well, but not the Bistro. The numbers of upper tier are so huge on this ship, they separated the upper tier party into two groups, two different times in the Aqua Theater. Pinnacles/D+, then later...Ds, Emerald, Platinum.
  6. 1/2 of those machines in the casinos are not working...even here on Wonder currently (brand new ship).
  7. Sometimes they can...sometimes they can't, or very limited on what they can do. I prefer not to worry about it, planning in advance, getting packs of small bills to take with us. No waiting in GS line either. 😉
  8. Does not seem as rolly-polly (is that a word?)....now as it was. Felt like we were walking uphill in the hallways...and then downhill again immediately. 😮 Either that, or we are getting our sea legs now. At least the sun is out this morning...quite nice right now out on the balcony. Nicole now predicted to turn into a hurricane as it slides up Florida. Ughh...I did not do any hurricane prep before we left. 😳 Mr. Sleepy head just getting up. I bring him a mug of coffee each morning. Love the nice new machine in the SL. 🙂
  9. Yup, that's the way we see it also. 😄 Sold that big RV...used the proceeds to turn our huge attached RV port into a really...really big enclosed garage. Even has A/C in it. 😉
  10. My dry cleaning just came back from the ship's laundry. Also have another bag of "boil and fry" out today for torture. 😜
  11. My cats hated cars. (Always thought they were going to the Vet's office)...and where do you put the cat litter box? 😮 They were quite at home in the RV. They even had their own bathroom for the cat litter box (second bathroom was a 1/2 bath). Also served as mop, broom, and storage closet. 😉 Still have to do laundry, in an RV, in a car, and on a cruise. Prefer it that way to going around as "Ms. Stinky". 😄
  12. We are that tiny dot in the middle of the Atlantic. Kind of coming up behind Nicole, tugging on her skirts. 😉
  13. Terminal #1 is on a side road with cafes, bars, and definitely sidewalks along the way. No worries walking along that port area. Terminal #5 is the one with nothing around it, no sidewalks, and very busy road.
  14. That is why I packed our own. Being prepared...kind of a girl scout thing I guess. 😉 😄 Happy I brought them, and used them.
  15. That was what the officers and crew in Coastal Kitchen and the SL here on Wonder told us. They were looking forward to having the bottles again once we hit the states.
  16. Yes to face cloths on all RCI ships...no to European hotels before embarkation. So I simply packed two very worn face cloths to use precruise, then threw them out when we left.
  17. Currently on fourth week on Wonder. They have those awful cans of water (being European embarkation), but switching to bottles when we hit the states on the 13th. I bought a refillable water bottle in the gift shop, and then simply fill it with the cans of water. Dislike the cans due to not being able to reseal them.
  18. One of the best times we have had on a ship...and we are not kids! Wish we had known about it on the first leg. Enjoyed last day on second leg. Would love to do it again! 🙂
