  1. Was interesting to see the rising tide bar so sparse of seats the last few times, and those seats did not look comfortable. Used to have much more available...and indeed...no place to sit "at the bar". Was not a draw for us any longer as it lost that cozy feeling. I would think it would be totally boring for kids.
  2. Exactly this ^ Have witnessed items blowing off balconies while at sea...and even in port (with the winds up). It becomes sea trash, which is not what the sea needs.
  3. Indeed sounds confusing. Growing pains with the new match program? Kind of happy we are not on until December...hopefully get the bugs out by then? Enjoy your cruise you two!!
  4. Thanks...good to hear on Silverseas. I am actively looking at their various itineraries to fill a hole end of 2025 into early 2026. Just did the WC in Antarctica...agree...fantastic!! Would like to do it again, this time on Silverseas. Saw one of the newer ships of that sister line next to us in lower South America (can't remember which port) and thought it was a beautiful ship...just the right size too. 🙂
  5. And another pointy thing...this time with Adventure's name on it. 😉 😄
  6. Also includes JS cabins...though not full suite...still a perk for that class of cabin.
  7. Nice!! Sounds like a great plan!! 🤗 We are on Adventure B2B end of Oct. 2025, picking up another freebie certificate on that one. 🙂 From Dec. 2025 to May 2026 in planning mode, except for 2/28, 3/7/26 Apex B2B to cruise with Gary and Mary (Cruise Wizard).
  8. Not sure. We disembarked as scheduled in LA on Feb. 10th. Also not sure which ones are coming back or not. Will be interesting to see what...if anything...has changed when we board again in Barcelona on July 10th for last quarter back to Miami on Sept. 10th. When we disembarked in Feb., the WC had not made any official changes as to opting out of the Suez Canal. We had zero interest in doing that area, thus had booked to bail and rejoin later, just doing half of the WC.
  9. That is how it is on the WC right now as well. Only Pinnies on the full WC (all 274 nights) are allowed into the CL. There is 41 of them. Anyone in a GS and above welcome as well, no matter what length they are on. The CL on first quarter was really empty. Same 6-8 of us in each night. Chops for breakfast for GS and above only.
  10. We received the announcement email awhile ago from RCI about the new status match program. I almost deleted it, figuring it was yet another promo come on...then for some reason it caught my attention. I shouted to Bucky..."Damn...is this right??!!".... 😱
  11. We did as well. Bucky thinks it's hilarious that we are now a strange mix of a creature called Pinnacle/Zenith/Venetian. Sounds exotic. 🤣
  12. That is the important one. We won't book a B2B (or more) unless same cabin. Love being unpacked already for next leg. 😉
  13. Nice! We are re boarding Serenade from Barcelona next month...hitting the British Isles...plus some. 😉 Then ending up over to NYC for an overnight before we crawl back down the eastern US seaboard. And of course...just HAVE to hit Coco Cay again. 😂 Another 62 night loaded up suitcases event.
  14. They do give repeat cruisers a couple hundred bucks off the next cruises they book...and (though you have to ask) back it off to 6 months final payment prior to sail date. For newbies, and ignorant pax (like me on booking cruise #2 and #3)....the final is a year to year and a half in advance. Further out there for Expedition ships with limited capacity.
  15. Ironically Viking has the bulk of our cruising money now...and they don't have a loyalty program. Go figure. 😉
  16. We have witnessed that also. Though more seemed to be separate days.
  17. Exactly. Conveniently keeping to ALL the restart cut backs since Covid. 😉 Though I really don't blame the officers for not sitting with us. It always seemed forced for them, with so many other things to do than to listen to us whine. 😄
  18. Except that the wine is usually pretty bad. We start it off by walking in with a full glass of our own. 😉
  19. The secret is not to look back and total it up. 😉 Water....errr...$$$ under the bridge. But worth every memory. 🥰
  20. Yeah, I booked our first X cruise (Connie out of Tampa) over a year ago.
  21. We had over 300 Pinnies on the Wonder TA when she first came to PC.
  22. Nope...it only reflects how much money has been, and still is....Leaving my bank account! 😄
  23. Love those...and always keep a small box of them in my traveling bag. 😉
  24. Yes, we will indeed have fun. Very much looking forward to it, and the little "Connie". Will be our first time cruising up the Mississippi, however short cruise up that river...and has been years since we have been to NO. But I will politely duck out of conversations about Z/P...just like I would about politics and religion. 😄
