  1. Mason Jar is a fixed price restaurant like Chops and Giovannis just at a lower rice unlike Playmakers which is a la carte. It would be covered and not a $20 credit
  2. Just being realistic and recognizing some things changed during covid. Hope your next cruise is better
  3. Yes, lunch on embarkation day. On the days in Nassau and Coco cay some of the restaurants like Johnny Rockets or Playmakers may be open a bit later. Rule of thumb is that if the restaurant is open it is included regardless of port or sea day
  4. It wasn't just you it was the entire fleet due to Covid and so many changes to the show schedule so there is really nothing unfair about it, it was just a byproduct of Covid that has now been removed.
  5. That pretty much mirrors our experience on Ovation. Symphony in March and Voyager in August were great. Ovation had the limited menu and our bowls were not nearly as good
  6. No information received its just pretty obvious that when they were opened the first dates were December so Royal decided to start with December sailings. I eoukd be shocked if entertainment for Novemver was released after December was available.
  7. They were asking about Alaska which is obviously not open yet as 24 itineraries only currently go through April other thsn Icon. Asking here is much easier than calling Roysl and more likely to get a correct answer.
  8. Itineraries will open next week, most likely Wednesday or Thursday.
  9. I'm hoping out on a limb here and I hope I'm wrong but after watching "Makkng of an Icon 3" I can't help but feel that the Hideaway will be a for a fee venue. In the video they referred to it as similar to the Beach Club which is also for a fee. It looks to be small, exclusive and have easily gontrolled access points and some unique experiences that would certainly lend itself to being a for a fee venue. Another first at sea.
  10. Certainly a possibility but then they'd be sending 2 OA class ships over. Could always move Odyssey up to NJ for the summer, we know Anthem fits
  11. So many inconsistencies but there have also been a lot of reports about instant status matching
  12. My guess is that it is off their status and not actual points. The main purpose of this matching is to not separate families and have them at different levels. Same for Pinnacle. I don't think anyone is going to question a PO brining their kids to CK just like a suite guest is not questioned bringing minor kids sailing in a non suite cabin, only applies to minor kids though
  13. The cruise once only applies if you are not linked to someone....i.e new couples first time cruising. Where one person has cruised and a newby links to them in is instant status
  14. At some point in 2024 Oasis has to go to Europe as she is due for her mandatory 5 year drydock
  15. Same cabin has nothing to do with it. It depends on how you are linked for your C&A account. Kids up until the age of 18 share their parents status, after that they are on their own however they keep the last status they shared with their parents but revert back to their own points. At 18 a child that has only sailed a couple of time may only have 14 points however they may be Diamond because of their parents status. The 18 year old will now continue to be a diamond but only have 14 points and have to get from 14 to 175 before becoming D+ It is on Celebrity that cabin mates share the status of the highest person in the cabin.
