  1. Just mention it to your steward when you get onboard and he'll make sure it gets done the way you want.
  2. I see where you're coming from. Consider elderly women wearing bikinis a couple sizes too large for them.
  3. Oh yeah... I just got back from Europe and the AC flights through Toronto were fine and ArriveCAN was quick and easy to complete.
  4. I'm late to the party because I'm with Rogers and pay way too much for wireless, internet and TV and roaming and the system breaks down all the time!!
  5. I guess I'm helping you out on your 20K quest. Yes, I do believe inadvertently allowing a person access to your cabin is a problem. My initial suggestion to keep walking away would preclude that but, of course, it doesn't respond to your specific concern. I'll admit that I don't know the answer; probably best to solicit some experimental information from somebody currently using the Medallion onboard a Princess ship .
  6. Yes, I understand that and ought not have gone OT on you. I just figured you have nothing much better to do and you're just offering up a scenario to increase your post count.
  7. You should never retrace your steps. Look at this as an opportunity to more fully explore the ship and learn new routes to the buffet and bars. You should always have alternatives in mind in case your usual access route is blocked.
  8. As far as boarding the ship goes, none of this actually happened because it's undocumented. Seems to me you'll have to be formally tested according to cruise line protocols and go with that.
  9. I believe it will be Brooklyn.
  10. For cruises out of US and Canada here is what Princess is currently saying: Documentation of Recovery consists of the following: Paper or electronic copies of the positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days ago), or A valid digital COVID-19 certificate (DCC) or a document issued by an official health or government authority showing confirmed previous infection. I'd say your son is not an official health or government authority.
  11. I think it's more likely that the Galveston restaurant owner doesn't mind turning away the people who don't want to abide the dress code and will forego the 'loss of business' on them because there are plenty of other customers willing to abide with the code. Cruise companies have charged a much greater fare and some of them don't want to run the risk of losing clients for dress code infractions.
