  1. If you've already inserted it you should be able to remove it. I had put all mind in till a cc member, who also was a merchant and showed the contract that they have to sign to be involved in it. That being said, I know you can remove it....but I'm old and can't remember how 🤣
  2. I did my cc for the onboard account. Princess has had it before, so I really am not that worried. As far as the shore expense one, after reading the thread and seeing the form that princess makes the vendors sign, I chose not to do that one. I kinda see why there aren't more vendors using it.
  3. Update to this....I believe the corkage fee has been changed to $20 per bottle.
  4. Here's from the website "As provided in the Passage Contract, guests agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind on board for consumption, except one bottle of wine or champagne per adult of drinking age (no larger than 750 ml) per voyage, which will not be subject to a corkage fee if consumed in the stateroom. Additional wine or champagne bottles are welcome, but will incur a $15 corkage fee each, irrespective of where they are intended to be consumed. Liquor, spirits or beers are not permitted. Please remember that luggage will be scanned and alcohol outside of our policy will be removed and discarded.* Alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty free from The Shops of Princess, or at ports of call, will be collected for safekeeping and delivered to the guest's stateroom on the last day of the cruise. A member of the ship's staff will be at the gangway to assist guests with the storage of their shoreside alcoholic purchases while The Shops of Princess staff will assist guests with shipboard alcoholic purchases."
  5. Great....now I have to weigh pillows to pack if I want to take them 🤣
  6. I have my first Alaskan cruise set for August. I can only say right now, my favorite ships are the royal class (Majestic) though I never been on that one. But one also must look at what itinerary you want. A smaller class ship might be able to go places a larger ship can't. 🙂
  7. Also...depending on who gets your request, if it's longer than 75 days before your cruise, you could get an email telling you to wait until it's 75 or less before your cruise.
  8. You may also want to send a message to the app support and report that bug to them. 🙂
  9. It also means if you want to do it online, there is a link on the summary page of your cruise on princess website. Click on the link and it takes you to the Ocean.com site where you will need to log in again there (username and PW the same as princess site) there you can enter everything you could on the app plus do DMW also.
  10. I was told medicare pays for I believe it's 4 tests a year. I plan on going to MDnow for our August cruise. I've already checked and it's covered.
  11. Since this is your first cruise on princess, if you are a veteran don't forget to check out the military benefits. https://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/
  12. I haven't had to take a monitored test yet.....does it state what time you took it?
  13. Usually between 4 & 5 they are around the pool area in front of the horizon court where I'm trying to drink my coffee 🤣
  14. A friend of mine got sick while on his last cruise, he had taken out the insurance and it reimbursed him for the medical bills that his health insurance didn't cover.
  15. If by traditional dinning you mean assigned tables like they use to do, then yes....it got in the way. I believe that type of dinning is gone.
  16. This link may help you, it is a free service, but not all airlines participate. 😊. https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free
  17. I had the same problem with scheduling. I just kept going back on everyday until some became available. Took me about two weeks to get one close, but it was over an hour drive, so I kept trying and I found one even closer for the next day of my scheduled appointment for the next day 25 miles closer to my home.
  18. Yep, that's why I like princess. And once you provide your DD214 the benefits stays in your files...At least for most, some have said they have to send it in for every cruise.
  19. Thanks, but as I am retired, I didn't retire from the military. It doesn't say veterans just retired and active. Not sure about them, but other companies that state that means it's only for those retired from the military.
  20. Thanks, RCCL's is a joke. I have 2 Carnival cruises, that's enough for us on that line. I may have to look into HAL.
  21. I've only just retired last year so haven't had the chance to do the TA I want to do yet 🤣 Got to get Alaska out of the way first which is the end of August.
  22. Princess is still the only line I know of that takes care of veterans. The only way I'd consider switching is if other cruise lines followed suit for vets.
  23. Every cruise we've been on with princess (Only Caribbean so far) any alcoholic beverages brought back on from ports are taken at security and return the day before the end of the cruise.
  24. Also, if you notice, there is a little down arrow on the right corner of that black bar that that if pressed lowers that black bar to a little black square with an up arrow. you then need to click on that up arrow to get the whole bar back to see the chat square.
  25. That is correct, $10 a day for advance and I believe still the first day. Platinum and elite get 50% off of that.
