Military Service medals at Formal nights
Moondogy replied to Sailaway John's topic in Princess Cruises
Thank you 🙂 but we must remember, we take on oath, to uphold the constitution. One of those rights is the freedom of speech. As much as some of the things that are said burns me to the bone, I must say they have that right given to them by all the men and women that have fought and died for that right. -
Sometimes the rep doesn't know how to apply if. If they received it and it shows, if you get someone who knows what they are doing they can fix it right then.

With PP you are not charged minutes. You can use more than one device for the internet....just not at the same time. You can only have one device at a time connected to the internet. -
Military Service medals at Formal nights

I just looked again, looks like they put the medals on racks like the ribbons. Doesn't say anything about magnets for the medals thought. And it can get really expensive if you have a lot of medals 🤣 -

The website I found, www.medalsofamerica.com have the miniature ribbons just like the full sized ones but instead of pin on you can get magnetic. haven't looked to see if they can do the same with the mini medals. -

As one who served doing Viet Nam and being called names like baby killer when in uniform, I am more apt to wear something showing I served now then I did back then. There is better responses now then there was back then, it's a much better feeling. -

And thank you for your service as well 🙂 -
Welcome to cruise critic. Since this is your first princess cruise, if anyone in your party is a veteran, be sure to get the military benefits. https://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/

First of all....Thank you for your service. I have a website you might be interested in. https://medalsofamerica.com. They now have mini ribbons of medals for veterans to wear. looks just like the full size ribbons, and can even add additional devices for multiple awards. 😊 -
It refers to the information you've entered into the medallion app. You can also now enter the information through the website. If this is not done prior to sailing when you arrive at the dock, then you will just need to provide all that info at the desk. I don't know how much it will slow down your check in.

In the military there is an antonym "KISS" Keep it simple stupid....Maybe princess could learn from this 🤣

Mine is staying yellow now. Developers must have started working on it again Friday and didn't finish before quitting time. 🤣

Are drinks included on Princess Cays if you have Princess Plus?
Moondogy replied to KKB's topic in Princess Cruises
Does the island now have fountain soda? I remember them only having cans, which would not be included free but be 25% off? -
@prmsskThis is what I see on my website the coffee & Soda Package includes what you are asking about. My last few cruises have only been on the Regal and found no milkshakes, But they do have some good smoothies.
-
Because if they were old enough or you let them they could get the coffees also. Sometimes the 3rd and 4th cruisers are adults I would guess.

Which ship and which cruise do you recommend?
Moondogy replied to Retired2021's topic in Princess Cruises
@Retired2021 Welcome to cruise critic 👋. My bucket list was an alaskan cruise when I retire. Since I also retired in 2021 mine is in August. I really like the royal class ships, I have been on the Emerald since 2010 and it was very nice back then. I believe Princess takes care of their ships, at least I like to think they do. Since you are new here and haven't given us much background, I'll let you know in case you haven't sailed Princess before....If you're a veteran, there is a military benefit that gives you on board credit (OBC) and if you own 100 share of Carnival stock (CCL) it also gives OBC. 😊 -
It came in with the last update.
-
First, thank you for your service. As cr8tiv1 stated the CCL stocks OBC is non refundable, your military OBC is refundable. And anytime you use OBC they take from non refundable first. 🙂

I create a separate email folder for each cruise and every email I get from them gets copied right into it to save.

If all else false, try jswartz@princesscruises.com. I had had a few issues I emailed her with a couple of weeks ago. She did not respond personally, but had her assistant call me a couple of days after I emailed her. Maybe she can help.
