They were cancelled along with table sharing , group activities, and basically all other activities that involved senior staff following cruise resumption after Covid restart. Cruises were very different than what prior Regent cruises had been. Supply chain issues affected food and beverage and probably still is to a lesser extent. Hopefully that’s all behind us and won’t return.
Be aware that Starlink satellite deployment is not complete by any stretch. Approx 4800 satellites are currently in orbit including the the 22 launched earlier this week. Many thousand still to be launched over the coming decade with priority to provide service over land masses where a paying population exists. It is not surprising that there is not 100 pct coverage.
I have always found traveling with Delta to be a pleasant experience and the Atlanta airport one of the easiest to traverse. Much prefer Delta over other airlines I’ve flown on.
The think I would defer complaining about what champagne I get on a cruise a year from now, especially since we don’t even know what the premium champagne is.
Atlanta, hands down, best of the three. Not sure why your first choice is to change planes in Europe. I would look at Delta to Atlanta , and then on to Barcelona. If your flights are all Delta, then the sfo to atl will be first class. On your return, again, Delta from Rome to Atlanta. We are doing this exact itinerary this fall, except not flying to sfo.
