Good morning everyone! Even with luggage debarkation, we were off the ship at 7:30. Currently eating breakfast at a Cracker Barrel somewhere north of West Palm Beach. We'll be stopping in South Carolina for the night. The drive home is always the worst part of the trip. 😎

Sounds like you had a great cruise as did we. Back to reality tomorrow. We enjoyed following along. We passed the Scarlet Lady this morning as she was heading to Puerto Plata. Safe travels home tomorrow! 😎

I'm New Jersey born and raised and I love my state. Nobody's ever called me grumpy! 😁 Sail away from New York is the best bar none. If anyone chooses not to sail from New York due to a perceived people problem, that is their problem, not ours! 😎

Currently on the Spirit and having a great time with no real issues. Can I ask why the Spirit was so bad for you. You didn't give any reasons why you were so unhappy. 😎

On the Spirit now. Tervis Tumblers are still $11.50. The perk is that they hold 16 oz. and they charge you for whatever you put in them at the regular 12 oz. price. 😎

They never asked your vaccination status when you checked in at the pier? How would that couple be denied unless they had asked them? Wierd. 😎

Good morning Cruise Critic family! We are pulling into Aruba as we speak. It's another beautiful and hot day. Today we have an all inclusive day pass at the Barcelo Aruba which also includes breakfast, so we'll be heading out as soon as the ship gets clearance. Have a great day! 😎

Correct. Imagine how long debarking the ship in Grand Turk would take if you had to show your cards in addition to being scanned off? Now, it's a good idea to have your cards with you in case a restaurant or shop requires it for entry. We didn't run into this. 😎

Both of our cruises stopped at Grand Turk, and no, you don't have to show your vaccination cards to get off the ship. When we checked in for the Freedom they asked us if we were vaccinated, but didn't need to show the cards. When we checked in for the Spirit we had to show our cards. If you are checked in as not vaccinated, if you try to leave the ship in Grand Turk, you will be flagged and not allowed to leave the ship. We witnessed this getting off the Spirit. 😎
