  1. Our first stop was going to be the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, or the Titanic Cemetery as it is sometimes called. Patti got these shots along the way. The Harbour Hopper is loading up….. We are passing the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. We recommend a visit there, as they do have quite a few Titanic artifacts….. Here are some random shots as we head to the Fairview Lawn Cemetery….. This last shot is part of the Casino Nova Scotia….. To be continued…….

As was the last time, the staff did a great job of keeping things organized. The Carnival Legend was a little bit late getting docked this morning, so the tours were running a bit behind. The good news was, that if you have booked a Carnival tour, you would be picked up right on the pier…….. We are on our bus. The Carnival Legend is docked in Halifax. Looking up we can see our balcony….. The bus is about a half hour late leaving the pier, but our tour guide assures us that we will be given the full tour. Here are a couple more views of the Carnival Legend docked in Halifax….. Our bus makes its way through the industrial area. You can see why they don’t want anybody walking through here….. We are passing Cruise Terminals 20 & 21….. To be continued……
  5. We decided to skip breakfast today. I went down to the Legends Café for a coffee, and to pick up today’s “Fun Times”…… We are approaching Halifax, Nova Scotia….. The Adventure of the Seas, and some “Dam” ship, have arrived before us…. Because we are the third ship, we are forced to dock in this industrial area….. Because we are docking in an industrial area, we are not allowed to walk on the pier, and have to be shuttled to the cruise piers. Here’s all the information….. Here is our room steward, Kris…..   6. Day # 12 - 9/8/22 - Halifax, NS (10 am – 6 pm). We were up at 7 am to partly sunny skies and calm seas as the Carnival Legend makes her way to Halifax. Here is the view from our balcony looking forward and aft….. We are cruising along the coast of Nova Scotia….. To be continued……

  8. Captain Mark continues to spin us around….. The people hanging out at the Waterfront Container Village are watching us leave….. We are now sailing from Saint John….. Soon, the Pilot Boat makes its appearance…… The sky is very pretty tonight, along with a beautiful moon….. We decide to eat up on the Lido again tonight. Patti made herself a salad, and I had two chili dogs and fries from the Deli. Afterwards, we walked the ship, and then we stopped at the Alchemy Bar to hang out with Omer and Jenniel for a while. Tonight, there are no comedy shows scheduled, and nothing else really interested us, so we went back to the cabin. Out on the balcony we got this cool picture with the moon reflecting on the water….. Here is tonight’s towel animal…… Coming up next: Our final port of call, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
  9. We went back to the cabin, as we were planning to watch our 4 pm sail away from our balcony. At 4:30, Captain Mark made an announcement to inform us that there was an issue with one of the engines, and that we would be delayed leaving Saint John. Captain Mark also said that we would still make it to Halifax on time. At 6:15 the Carnival Legend sailed for Halifax, Nova Scotia. We were able to get some sunset pictures as the Legend pushed away from the pier….. Captain Mark spins the Carnival Legend around so that we are pointing out towards the Bay of Fundy…. A ferry boat is coming into the port….. To be continued…….

  11. We were back on the ship a little before 3 pm. I went to the Red Frog Rum Bar and had some drinks with Argee. Patti went up to Deck 10 to take some more pictures. Here are some that show the entire Waterfront Container Village….. Looks like school is out for the day….. Patti took these random shots of Saint John….. To be continued…..

  13. Patti is back outside again….. A double decker HOHO bus goes by…… Patti checks out a park and a war memorial….. Patti heads back to Rocky’s Sports Bar, where we have a few drinks and some lunch. Patti had the cheese quesadillas, and I had a foot long hot dog with chili, cheese, and fries. That sure did hit the spot! We are now heading back to the ship….. I tried to talk Patti into drinking beer and throwing axes, but she wasn’t hearing it. We are back at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal where the Carnival Legend is docked….. To be continued……

  15. We have reached my Husband Daycare, Rocky’s Sports Bar….. Patti has a drink with me, and then she’s back out into Market Square….. Patti exits the building and heads across the street to the City Market….. To be continued……

  18. We have made it over to the Market Square. The construction goes right up to the front door. Gone are the sculpture people that used to live here….. We check out the bars and restaurants that have outside seating…… A little lighthouse as a photo op…… Here’s another view showing the scope of the construction going on….. We enter Market Square from the back entrance….. To be continued……
