Re falls - I was seriously ill this past winter and I'm still working on my strength. Needless to say I have fallen 3 times😱 and DH can't help much due to shoulder issues. So we have been forced to call the Fire Dept. They come within 5 minutes and are so young and adorable I'm going to adopt them. Then we bring them treats to the Fire House. We're very fortunate to have them so close and so responsive, but the actual falling is quite demoralizing!

Yes this is what they did. I believe the hotel was Tulipe right on the main avenue across from Copacabana beach.

I think Keith meant a dedicated lounge or conference room as opposed to a hotel bedroom.

As you are debarking in Brazil, be prepared for all manner of delays, real or imagined. On our last debark in Rio, the tour escort apologized for the inordinate delay and explained that "if Brazil could make something difficult for tourists, it would, unless it could make things more difficult" - his words. So fair warning even if all your ducks are lined up in a row, don't relax until you are on the plane. Good luck!

My vote is for NO DJ except in Pulse and add back 2 musicians to the duos.

Very disappointing to hear that a DJ has replaced the nice piano music in the Cove! We loved the live music at the pool during lunch. And a duo for dancing? I thought D'Ovidio bought Crystal because he loved it, not so he could cut one of the major draws for people who look for live music. It was just wonderful having cocktails to nice piano in the Cove, never cared for the violinist as it was just too loud, hard to carry on a conversation!

If you have a cell phone, that will probably work for you. We have used ours in many far away places - China, Australia, Europe - and it works. You'll be on the east coast so I would guess that cell service would be pretty good. If you set your phone to "wi-fi calling", your calls will not be charged while you are on the ship, but if you are ashore and don't have a wi-fi connection, you'll be using your cell access. Hopefully your calls will all be happy ones.😁

Hard to believe that was 6 years ago! It was an amazing cruise, and ending with the NYC sail in was just spectacular.😎

OBGS was a bust, I think they misunderstood and called out my ONE reservation on each leg so thus no more for me! (Kinda like the soup ***😁). So I contacted my TA who had it all settled within the hour! NC still doesn't have things up to snuff in the home office.🙄

We were very fond of Slavko. Our condolences to his family, he will truly be missed.

I was not allowed to make a reservation in Osteria once I had made one in Uni Uma. So I only have one res for each of our 2 legs.

You might ask your TA. I asked mine and she contacted her high end colleagues and got a good list.
