If there’s anything in the mini, you can certainly ask that it be emptied. They will probably put it in a bag and stash the contents under your bed or in the closet in the room. If you are trying to keep temptation away, you can ask that the bag be removed completely, otherwise expect to remain in your room.

About 6:30 tonight, I was sitting in the solarium pool when an unintelligible announcement came over the PA system. We all looked at each other and at the staff but no one knew what was going on. About 15 minutes later another announcement came. This time the lifeguard said you all need to leave this area and go to your assembly station. As I was making my way there, I finally heard an announcement I could understand. Apparently a passenger reported seeing a person in the water and they decided to check every single passenger and every single crew member to see if anyone was missing. Throngs of people headed to the lifts and tried to make their way from one end of the ship to the other. Here is where it gets very weird because the next announcement gave amended instructions that anyone in a restaurant could stay at their table and someone would come around with a scanner to check them in, but anyone in Windjammer had to go to their assembly station. This tells me that there was no reason to go to the assembly station since anyone with a scanner could check anyone in. We are now down to a handful of people who have not checked in and they are naming them on the PA system one by one. Next will come the walk of shame, I presume. Oh, and did I mention that it is St. Patrick’s Day and some celebration began for some passengers early this morning. To everyone’s credit no one was rushing to the assembly stations, everyone proceeded calmly, because it wasn’t a real shipwide emergency; but had it been, I could envision chaos.

Different lines, different policies — no sense railing against the decision aa they aren’t likely to rescind it

Sorry this news is just now reaching you. It has been in effect since January 2023. You will just have to budget for it now, an extra 12 per day or so to be able to have dinner in your room.

How fast can we get from docks to airport?
WestLakeGirl replied to 3red7s's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Seattle is the only port right now which is offering luggage valet. You can put your luggage out the night before and they will take it, check it for you, and you don’t see it again until you are at your home airport. this is a service provided by the city of Seattle for passengers just like yourself to have a long wait and who might be tempted to visit the sites of Seattle if they don’t have to drag their luggage around with them. -

question about bringing 2 bottles of wine per person aboard
WestLakeGirl replied to l_n_kelly's topic in Celebrity Cruises
No rule that says that you can’t put wine in your checked suitcase. If you are willing to take the chance of being called to the naughty room, that’s your choice -
Ordering drinks not on Captain club menu

You are really overthinking this. She can view the safety video in the cabin and then go to the muster station. There is no need to get into anyone else’s account or use anyone else’s device.

We have found that they prefer not to pour beverages into your cups, which may or may not have been cleaned to their standards. They will pour a coffee into a paper cup and then you can transfer it into your tumbler, or they will pour a soft drink into a glass which you can then transfer yourself.

No one is suggesting that you start a new account for her because you don’t want two Captains Club numbers so please put that out of your mind. What she should do is go to the cabin, watch the video, and then go to the Master Station to check in. No phone or app required.

Gluten-free pizza on S-class ships?
WestLakeGirl replied to Ken the cruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Yes and yes -
😤😤😤😤there is nothing easy about the app. It is really a disgrace..
-
Yes even if you sign up online, confirm it with someone on the ship to make sure that your name is on their housekeeping list. Retreat host, guest services, it won’t really matter who as long as you confirm it.

No Celebrity ship has a self-serve laundry.
-
Perhaps. But it isn’t Bait and Switch if they tell you that they will do it. Settle on a price before you have a service done to avoid surprise

To make that comment on your post cruise survey. If they get enough complaints, They might reinstate the soda package

Ship? Itinerary? Sea days or port days?

If you are referring to the two bottles of wine you are each allowed to bring on board, Do not expect them to let you bring N/A beer instead.

Alcohol free wine was also not included in the nonalcohol packages and I expect that the same is true now
