Wendy,
That is what I do if I am on for a longish trip - my cabin steward, a favorite maitre'd and favorite waitstaff at the end of a cruise. Plus something for the Crew Fund.
I'm a long-time Regent cruiser and that has worked well for me over the years.

Erica,
Will Carolyn be posting anything about her tours of both ships? Her pictures as opposed to the PR ones? Very nice but I'm looking for "reality" - mostly from the Navigator.
Thanks . . .Peggy

UUNetBill,
Thanks!

I wonder if it's the same on the Port side . . . .

I use a Travel Agent but find that there are times when calling Regent is a quick way to resolve an issue.

The Crystal Serenity is a very different ship than the Navigator but putting that aside, there is interesting information here.

call Regent to ask if they have a downloadable list of the tours . . . . . or ask your TA to do that for you. No guarantees but it's a possibility.

DaveFr,
Is it possible to post link to the page/pages with the redone Navigator suite pictures?
Thanks in advance.

I've used Luggage Free for years - both in domestic and international situations - and have not had any problems - they are good about answering emails and my cases have been picked up and delivered on time.
-
J,
Have your friends had anything to say - or have send photos - about the results of dry dock?

Suzez,
Hopefully you can take and post some photos . . . we're all looking forward to seeing "what's new".

Regent also uses the Crew Welfare Fund for emergencies.

Jackie,
The ship I was on docked in Colon and we left for the tours from there and went through the Canal the following day.
I took the tour mentioned by JABE9999 and enjoyed it.
We stopped at the Gatune Locks, watched a cruise ship go though, drove near the new construction and then back to Colon and the ship. Very interesting.
One advantage of stopping at the Gatune Locks was that there are 2 viewing areas - one up a number of steps so that you "overlook" the Locks and another at ground level where the ship passed right in front of you.
The lower level is handicapped accessible - a category I fitted into in January due to a replaced hip. Still very interesting.
I've been thorough the Canal a number of times - this was a very satisfactory tour.

Regent,
PLEASE rethink the storage space on the Navigator cabins. Limiting it is going to create "issues".

Jackie and Dennis . . .
Yes!

I left Miami on another line about 10 days ago - many of us stood outside the terminal for close to an hour before boarding began. Not the line's fault . . . which ever line it is.
I'm told Miami is notorious for "issues".

A reminder: the Navigator goes into Dry Dock in April of this year.

Crystal has 2 seatings - 6pm and 8:30pm. If you want a different - but specific - time, you need to go with DBR.
As for the table for 2, that would depend on what's available when you make your reservation. Or what you can work out once you are on the ship.
