We are traveling with my elderly mother and the ship excursions offered for the most part she felt are too strenuous for her so we are pretty much going around the different ports on our own. When does this open up to get tender tickets is it the day before or day of? and Where and what time do they usually start offering it?
-
How soon before the day of the tendered port do you sign up for this and is it in person or on the app? If in person where do you go to do this and what time do they start giving them out? How long of a wait do you have getting off such as if they start calling groups at 8 am does it take an hour to get to you if have a number 25 for example or 2 hours, etc? We are trying to book some attraction tickets ahead of time for a few Mediterranean ports and for one are taking a train so wanted to have an idea. Thanks!

How often do the strikes happen? We are flying into Spain on United hopefully the end of this month and back home out of Rome the middle of July? We will be on a cruise and visiting some cities in France and Italy and spending some additional time there and will be taking a few trains.

We will hopefully be on a Med cruise next month. We are mostly going on our own. Can you explain what the tender ticket process is as this is new to us? Thanks!

Thank you so much!

We just got our cruise documents at 30 days before the cruise and noticed it said we did not prepay gratuities even though we thought we did there was a lot of confusion when booking using FCC from a few years ago so there might have been a miscommunication. I went on the website to add this and am not seeing an option. Is it possible to do this on the website and if so where would I go or do I have to call?

We are sailing out of Barcelona. The website said 5/19 but the app said 5/18 and it opened on 5/18 at 6 pm which was 5/19 midnight Barcelona time. Hope this helps.

Online Check in 45 days in advance - quick question
CynBeth6 replied to Toddcan's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We just did the check in a few weeks ago in the app and I was able to select the time for everyone first and then went back and took care of the rest of the needed info. -
We go by the itinerary and date offered by RC the ship does not matter.

Thank you for your service. We have not sailed for a while so am not familiar with this ceremony. When is it usually held and can anyone attend?

I was just able to check in!

Self-guided Sagrada Familia and Park Guell

That sounds amazing! We actually have a cruise port in Baltimore but so far none of our cruises have left from there. Maybe one day. How many kids do you have? We were not blessed with any but have our rescue dog who will be having fun in the kennel while we are gone. I know what you mean wish the check in option would appear to have it done. I am bad when it comes to technology and weird things always seem to happen whether it is in my work laptop, home laptop, iPad, or iPhone so I thought it was just me having issues. -
Quick question. We are in the US and our cruise will be leaving from Barcelona on 7/3 and on the app it says check in day is 5/18 so I thought I would be doing that at 6 pm EST on 5/17 which would be midnight their time but it is not letting me on the app or the website. Also, when going on the app do I select the icon at the bottom that says check in or is there something else I should be doing? What about if I go in the website where do I find that option? Thanks!

Self-guided Sagrada Familia and Park Guell

You got married in 1999? So did we! We have been on 3 cruises with Royal Radiance, Allure, and Majesty and usually like to get on and go right to the WJ for lunch and then explore the ship until the room is ready or do activities. Now that they have changed how the muster drill is done we will try to watch the video at the hotel or while waiting to board so we can go to our station and get that over with. -

That is so cool we will be in the same places at the same time barring anything unexpected. I can’t believe we can check in tomorrow. I am so lucky to be on Cruise Critic I would have had no clue that we have to do that at midnight Barcelona time which is 6 pm EST on the 17th. We want to get an early time. -
We were supposed to go on our cruise the summer Covid hit and on that one it was round trip from Rome and the ports were Barcelona, Palma, Valencia, Nice, and La Spezia. Even when cruising opened I have family members with health issues who were not comfortable traveling very far until now and found this one that works with my schedule of how long my company will let me be away. On our current cruise it is one way leaves from Barcelona and goes to Marseille, Nice, Genoa, Portofino, and Livorno but ends at Civi for Rome. We are flying in a few days early to tour Barcelona and after the cruise ends will stay in Venice for 2 nights and Rome for 3 nights.

I am talking about a normal backpack like kids would take to school nothing special. Thank you for the responses. I would love answers from people who have flown United from the US to an international location specifically Europe to see how much room they had under the seat if the backpack will fit or if we have to bring the drawstring backpack or cinch sack whatever it is called. Thanks!

On a flight from the US to Barcelona and back from Rome is there enough room under the seat for a backpack? We have been on several international flights 5 or more years ago on other airlines to other locations which could only fit a drawstring backpack so want to make sure for this summer trip. Thanks!

Do I need to print out cruise docs?
CynBeth6 replied to BigB67's topic in Royal Caribbean International
That is me as well. I already started to set up one of those folders with the different clear sections for our med cruise this summer. -
Remote Work on a Transatlantic?
CynBeth6 replied to kayjaypea42's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I would talk to your manager to see if you can take whatever amount of days this trip is without having to do work this should be a vacation for you to enjoy and not miss ports and if not find a different cruise that works better around the time you would be allowed to be off. -
Thank you for asking and the replies we are thinking of doing the same thing. I wish we knew more than 3 weeks in advance if we will be able to get tickets for the Leaning Tower.

Thanks for all of the help I really appreciate it!

Thank you! Once on the train how many stops is it?
