  1. I'll let you know...We sail on the 21st. However, from what I've learned from this board, it should be easy...even for me!
  2. I prefer handling my own reservation, but have had great luck by booking my next cruise while onboard. The future-cruise agent on the ship is a great resource in helping me find exactly what I want. Once I'm home I go online and set up my account with the new booking and am able to handle everything such as payments, etc on my computer. Once I needed to make a change, so I just called the MSC number and the agent pulled up the reservation and applied the change. Nothing bad happened!
  3. I purchased a couple of tickets to use for bowling, simulators, etc. Now I'm getting the idea that these activities are for kids...not adults. Are they? We're all normal sized adults....will we fit?
  4. Were all of these operational? In the past people have reported them broken down.
  5. Can the staff at the Yacht Club Concierge Desk make reservations for bowling, flight simulator, etc.? Or...do I need to go do it myself?
  6. Put an "s" on the word "byway" and you should have it. I have had immediate responses from Heidi at bermudabyways@gmail.com
  7. Thank you both for this information. I really appreciate your taking time to explain. I feel much better now.
  8. I've done a "search" and also viewed many you-tube videos and still am a bit confused about the area for Yacht Club Check in. We will be arriving by limo and I am assuming that they will drive us to the luggage drop-off area. Question 1: Is the YC drop off clearly marked or is it mixed in with general drop-off? Question 2: I understand that there will be a blue tent. Is this located outside of the actual terminal building or inside the building? In all the videos I've viewed I cannot find it pictured. Once I find that tent I'm home free! I sure would appreciate someone's help understanding how to find it. Thank You.
  9. The offer of four pressed items of clothing is new information for me. Thank you for taking time to post. Also was surprised to learn that they let you use an elevator for the lifeboat drill. Both DH and I have trashed knees and eight flights of steps will not feel good at all. How did you manage to get the elevator? I've tried in the past but always was refused.
  10. I've got a bunch of Euro coins which I was not able to convert back to US dollars after a recent trip. Would they be accepted onboard in the casino or would I be able to change them into US dollars at the casino?
  11. Richard@Sea has summed up my feelings to a tee! We have been on many cruises on Regent Seven Seas. Also have enjoyed dozens of vacations on NCL and Princess. However, once we discovered MSC we found like we'd found our "Home". If "luxury" is what we want, we choose Yacht Club. If we're just looking for a good price, we have that choice as well. We fully realize we will get the experience of our choice...and what we've paid for.
  12. What? No folded points on the toilet paper either? Disgusting!
  13. Thanks to all of you for encouraging answers. Sounds like I'm not going to be disappointed!
  14. Unlimited beverage "selection" to me, means choice...not limit. I suppose I'm reading it how I want it to be.
  15. I'm confused about the beverage plan for Yacht Club. I've heard that it's the Premium Plus plan - allowing drinks up to $15/$16. However, on the confirmation paper I got when I booked the cruise, it states "Unlimited beverage selection in MSC Yacht Club and in all bars and restaurants". It really only matters to me when it comes to tequila. I LOVE a good Anejo. Can recent cruisers on Meraviglia confirm for me? TYVM!
  16. Last year on Divina the chef in Yacht Club was from India. The Butter Chicken he made was fantastic!
  17. Thank you all. I suppose I shall just enjoy my "perk" and not feel guilty if I choose not to use it that much.
  18. Do you feel obligated to be using the cabana on the Yacht Club Pool Deck if you're in a Royal Suite? I understand that there are only three and of the three, two are prereserved for Royal Suites. This leaves only one for other YC members. Can you "share" with other family members who are also in YC? It seems a shame to leave this valuable real estate unused during long days at sea.
  19. Can the 15 ticket book be used by different members of my family or are they specific to only one person?
  20. Sometimes the size of the ship determines the availability of ports. MSC has some pretty big ships.
  21. Is there a flight simulator on the Meraviglia? How about a Formula One car? Is it difficult to get reservations for the activities covered by the fun pass?
  22. Four of us are traveling in two staterooms on Meraviglia. The FunPass sounds like someting everyone would enjoy. If I purchase (in advance) the $80.00 funpass per cabin how many "adventures" can four people enjoy? What is the cost of the flight simulator? What is the cost of the F1 car?
  23. Thank you both for taking time to answer my question. You've told me exactly what I needed to know.
  24. We're traveling with family members in an adjacent suite in Yacht Club and are hoping to be able to connect our balconies by opening the door. Specifically we are asking about Royal Suite #15011 and Balcony Suite #15013. I know that most doors can be opened by the cabin attendant on request, but I'm wondering if the hot tub would block access between 15011 and 15013.
