Excited to go on Beyond on April 16th… one question for the evening shows do you have to make reservations ahead of time or while on board…or just go to show? Just making sure…

I’m sure my DW has no problem trying the well grade amaretto. If it’s bad she will get desarona. Only a couple bucks more.

Like others I will never put up with obnoxious inconsiderate cruisers next door. One try being nice knocking on their door and being polite then security and guest services get called. Wanna party? there are 20 bars on the ship to party at. Smoking shouldn’t be allowed on any ship. Too many issues and too dangerous. Just my opinion. But I’m not a smoker just lived with both parents that did. So in a sense I did smoke…

Hmm? We sailed on Equinox in early January and never seen any of the behavior that you have mentioned. Sure everyone is on vacation and wants to have a good time. but the way you describe sounds like a Carnival cruise. We sail again next month so will see how that goes.

This isn’t a Credit card we use daily. We used it to get the perks then we will cancel it.

Does anyone have the link to the 30k points for getting the Bank of America credit card. after your initial purchase and then you paid in full can you cancel the card after your points transfer to OBC? How soon do you have to use your OBC?

It all boils down to how much you drink? If you have a couple alcoholic drinks a day don’t get the beverage package. But like others say coffees, waters and drinks add up. If you like to drink and consume a lot of cocktails then you may be better off with the AI. My DW doesn’t doesn’t drink that much a few cocktails where I consume a few more. But who’s counting. We have AI on our April cruise and will just roll with that. DW wants a martini or something not on the Classic list then we pay the difference. There’s plenty to chose from.

Great thanks for the info. We are just debating wether we upgrade to the premium. My DW loves amaretto and Sprite Zero and martinis. She’s not a huge drinker max of 2 amarettos a day plus a couple martinis. I know it adds up. I was just curious what amarettos and Sprite Zero cost would be. Trying to justify premium pkg. May be better just to pay the difference. thanks again..

So are we saying a drink made with Amaretto and Sprite Zero is a $17 cocktail?

Just checking with the drink package experts. Is Amaretto included with the Classic Beverage Package? I see some on premium. Would the bartenders make you one with the Classic Package or do we need to upgrade? any help would be appreciated..

I agree. Redeem then give it a week. If it still doesn’t show up one your cruise account then call captains club. I wouldn’t wait tillI got on board done want to deal with that after boarding.. I think it’s a very good deal. We got the bonus points for getting the card and spending $1000 which we booked the cruise with and got 2 points per dollar spent and that added another $50 OBC! Works for me.

Ok we called Captains Club after an hour wait and the rep was able to access our Bank Of America card somehow. She said it takes 7 days for it to show on your cruise account. We were at 6 days . So she just manually put it on our cruise. My thought is to not wait just call captains club and let them do it. It appeared on our account right away.

This is great to hear about the Beyond Martini Bar. We love the S and M class Martini Bars. Cant walk pass them without stopping for a drink. We are just off Equinox some nights packed some nights a handful at the bar.. But is a happening place for sure. We are going on Beyond in April our first Edge class ship. So what is the difference in the Edge Martini Bar and the Beyond Martini Bar? Size More seating? No ice top correct. Our friends a year or so ago went on Edge. We bragged about the Martini Bar on the S class ships thinking they would love the Edge Martini Bar and they hated it. Any differences you can share would be appreciated. We do have a knack for finding open seats at the bar. Keep our fingers crossed. Looking forward to it.

Thanks so much! What’s the concept with Eden? Is it just open for shows ? You just walk-in sit down and watch? Do you need to make reservation to the shows in the main theatre ahead of time? Thanks again!

We are sailing on Beyond on April 16-23. Maybe this has been covered in the past but what shows are a do not miss? Plus if you had to pick one specialty restaurant what would it be? Do you need to make reservations for the shows ahead of time? We are dining in Blu! Can we get an entree from one of the 4 MDR’s if we so choose? Any help would be appreciated…

Jelayne, Where on the app is it showing the discounted price to go from CBP to PBP. I would think it would be under beverage packages. We have all included CBP and my DW was thinking of upgrading to PBP. Any help would be appreciated…

Volk904 so where does it appear on your cruise reservation?Did you contact captains club or bank America? any help would be appreciated. Kayehall, not sure on balance transfer but you could check or call Bank of America and ask. I don’t see why not but I’m no expert. I myself are trying to see where my redeemed ONC a shows up. good luck.

January 2, 2023 was our first time in Retreat and Luminae on Equinox. We are normally just in a veranda room. So really can’t compare the retreat to past cruises. But will say all in all it was fabulous. Alfred and Juan Pablo in Luminae were outstanding. Food was incredible and granted there were a few dinners I couldn’t find anything that appealed to me but could order anything. I didn’t see cutbacks on anything. We went to retreat bar just once and was nice but seemed stuffy to me. If I got another good deal I’d do it again.
