  1. We are easy to please people but just got off Beyond and as far as the 4 MDR restaurants with their menus there were times we almost opted for the buffet. One night I only found one item that I would eat. Of course the French onion, shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad are appetizers but not an entree. I guess I don’t understand that concept. We are looking for something new. Good food and drinks. I will search you tube….. Thanks for the help!
  2. I’m sure this has been covered but we are regular Celebrity Cruisers. We are tossing around trying MSC just for a change.Ive read reviews years ago and they were horrific. It seems hit or miss. Wondering if they have improved? We were thinking of sailing out of Port Canaveral. We are in our late 60’s Can MSC cruisers comment on what we can expect? Food, drinks, entertainment. Not sure what ship sails out of Port Canaveral? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  3. We have cruised Celebrity Cruises for about 15 cruises. We are looking to try Princess. How would you compare Princess to Celebrity? We are low maintenance cruisers. Love balcony’s, drink packages. Always looking for a good deal. Not so much into specialty dining unless MDR food is bad. Can you compare! food drinks entertainment service Anything that Princess has that Celebrity doesn’t. Of course you would have to have sailed both cruise lines to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
  4. We are just off reflection 5 weeks ago. Went to Murano’s first night had flambéed lobster cooked table-side and even split Chateaubriand. Plus all the other courses. Murano's we feel is the best for food and atmosphere. We’ve did this many times. Never disappointed… Just my 2 cents.
  5. We called yesterday. Talked to a so called supervisor. We got a free interior and at the same time upgraded to concierge. She said it has always been that if you get a free interior room thats the points you get no matter what level you upgrade to. Seems insane to me. So if you get a free interior and upgrade to a the retreat you only get interior points? Again makes no sense you paid for the upgrade…these CS people are hit or miss and one will tell you one thing and the next one will tell you something different.

If you’ve ever gotten a email after your cruise for misc items which are not specified on the email it is very confusing especially when the night before we checked our account and had a zero balance. Plus said we made payments in bold looked liked they charged ourcardI agree ideally it should just have date you bought charge and a rolling list of the balance you have at the end. Not so with Celebrity. Plus they have money that is pending on hold on your account. Toss in their secret codes which have no explanation and everything is very murky. Not just simply math.
  7. Question for you Blue Chip Club Experts. When you get a free interior room and you upgrade (pay) to Concierge class room do you get the 5 points per day? This may have been covered but can’t find anything. Any help would be appreciated.
  8. We’ve been on beyond 2 times don’t recall any noise in our cabin last year. This cabin 9116 I did notice but may have been looking for the noise too. like I said wasn’t enough to keep me awake but annoying to say the least.
  9. Just got off Beyond Saturday. Checked our credit card bill today after zero balance on the ship the last night. $99 charge and no explanation. Another 45 minute call tomorrow to straighten out. Fellow cruisers check your statements…
  10. I think on your statement they emailed there’s a number to call. Amazing didn’t show up on board but after you left ship same thing happened to us..
  11. We just got off Beyond. Our room did have some popping. But I noticed it was always in the infinite veranda area. With these hundreds of complaints I can’t believe Celebrity hasn’t sent in an engineer to figure it out. Maybe just some overhead panels or something. It wasn’t that it kept us up but was annoying.

  13. Anyone have any ideas on Deck 9 in the front of the ship. Leaving Monday on Beyond. Checking for snap crackle and popping!
  14. Great review of your cruise. Really enjoying it. We will be on Beyond Monday. One quick question? I’m hearing many saying this ship snap crackle and pops. Is this happening in certain areas? We are in the front of the ship deck 9. Not sure if we will experience this or not. Any info will be greatly appreciated…

  18. We did after she said they refunded. We didn’t know anything about a refund. Caught us off guard and then said they didn’t want to cancel the cruise. Threatening us with cancellation when none of this was our fault.
  19. New issue! We are cruising on Beyond in a couple weeks. Just got off Reflection a few weeks back had the issue with an over charge on our booking after we left the ship. 45 minutes on the phone and finally got it straightened out. Fast forward to today.. Got an email from Celebrity on our upcoming Beyond cruise that there was a balance due. We paid it in full September of 2023. There was no explanation of why the balance was due or what it was for. Called Customer Service again on this issue. First customer service lady was super confusing of what the issue was. Asked for Supervisor. She came on and turns out they said we owed $39 and threatened to cancel cruise if we didn’t pay. She explained our cruise care went down $30 they screwed up refunded $69 to our credit card. So difference was $39. So another 45 minutes with this issue. Nothing was explained in their email. We said these 2 issues none of which our fault has cost us almost 2 hours of our time not to mention 2 hours of Celebrity Cruises customer service time. Seriously Celebrity.. Caught us totally out of the blue…. Who can you write to that someone will actually read it. What would you do? I know we will pay $39.. but seriously she offers a bottle of Celebritys wine and chocolate covered strawberry’s. No thanks… Our time is worth more than that…
  20. This coming cruise on Beyond will be our first trip to the new Coco Cay private island. I think you would be happier with your own snorkeling equipment but you can rent it on the island. This may have been covered but with your Celebrity sea pass card can you get free food and snacks? We understand you have to buy drinks if you don’t have a drink package. Any help would be appreciated.
  21. We just got off Reflection a week ago. Our room steward greeted us right away the first day and was super friendly. We had so many requests, a bucket of ice at 3 pm. That was it. He struggled with this sometimes bringing ice at 1pm or 2pm. So by the time we wanted it for a drink at 3:30 or 4 the ice was melted down to an handful of ice. Not even enough for 2 small drinks. Sometimes he didn’t bring ice at all so we had to call time after time. He vanished the last 2 days. Never seen him again. Not sure who was cleaning the room we just never cross paths with him again. Not the standard of Celebrity service we are used to. We had one request and that was it.
