Are the lobster tails still offered on one of the formal nights? What about the king crab legs?

Lobster tails were offered on the second formal night on the Tahitian last month. King Crab legs were offered on another evening (I forget which). BTW, it was an 18 day cruise, so the offerings may vary on other cruises.

What about the king crab legs?

It's been our experience, on 7-day cruises, that crab legs are offered the evening prior to the second formal night. With crab legs and rack of lamb on the menu, we feel it's the best menu onboard.

Crab legs is the best dinner....:D

Lobster tail....not tails was a real disappointment.....1 tail served with 3 giant prawns....I sent the tail back and the second one was just as bad, so did not eat it:(

 

No more twin lobster tails....or at least on my last 6 or 7 cruises

I remember crab legs being served at dinner on Alaskan cruise, but on the Baltic we had crabs on sailaway at the buffet in Horizon Court. Both times crab was very fresh and meaty. :)

You're right! The crab legs / rack of lamb menu is the best. My wife orders the crab and I enjoy the lamb.

 

We've kinda' given up on the lobster tails. Although you can specify no prawns , extra lobster, it's just not worth it. There is just no consistency; once in awhile you get one that is not overcooked and pasty. Being from New England, we know what good lobster is and Princess just doesn't serve good lobster in the MDRs.
