Rhapsody-Deck 8???

Recommended Posts

We are considering the Vancouver to Hawaii cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas. Does anyone have experience with a cabin on deck 8, especially an interior cabin? We are wondering if you hear noise from the pool or Windjammer areas on Deck 9 (chairs moving, cleaning, etc)? We have never been on this class of ship and usually try to get a room with cabins above and below us, but it may not work out that way on this ship. Any info/advice is welcome. Thank you.

We stayed in a cabin on Deck 8 from 10/22 - 11/2 this year on the Rhapsody from Sydney around Australia (we got upgraded 5 days into the cruise). Loved it; no noise. We had an outside, but the insides would be fine.

Depending on where you are, you'd be close to the internet cafe and the Loyalty Ambassador midship. The LA lounge, by the way is a great place to sit and listen to the music before dinner. No crowds and comfy leather couches.

A deck up to the Windjammer or the Solarium, depending on which end you are on if not midship.

The Rhapsody is great, and you've got some good people going with you if it's the one next Sept/Oct.

Look for the meet and mingle thread and posters theozwalrus and aloha of the seas. Tell them Peggy sent you!! :D
