MCManders99 Posted December 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I am leaving on Freedom this Sunday. YEAH!!!! One quick question... are there penny, nickel slots in the Casino? I live near port, so taking some quarters, but need to know if I should take some pennies, nickels, and dimes?
disfan Posted December 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Yes, all of the above slots. However, the Freedom is all TITO (tickets in- tickets out). Machines only accept cash or tickets and payback is tckets only.
cb at sea Posted December 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Don't lug coins!!!! Just set aside a like amount of paper money and use that strictly for your gambling!

Tquinn1 Posted December 4, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Am I understanding correctly?...can you use cash in the casinos instead of using the seapass account? My traveling companion and I always tend to exceed our pre-planned, pre-agreed upon, promise we won't go over daily budget in Vegas. I think we would be a bit more disciplined if we had envelopes for each day...worth a try anyway :D
marci22 Posted December 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I think some of the machines take paper money? I remember playing the penny slots and getting a little too excited considering the stakes. I hit it BIG one time and my payout was like $1.44. TexCruise371 Posted December 4, 2009 #7 Share Posted December 4, 2009 All the slots take paper money...no coins. You can get cash using your Seapass but they will charge 3% to do so.
MCManders99 Posted December 5, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Can I get coins changed into paper money on the ship? I won't be able to go to Bank tomorrow, already went today for some cash, but just went through my spare change for the casino.
gt_mustang_gal Posted December 5, 2009 #9 Share Posted December 5, 2009 Can I get coins changed into paper money on the ship? I won't be able to go to Bank tomorrow, already went today for some cash, but just went through my spare change for the casino. We brought rolls of quarters one time and then realized we couldn't use them. We took them to the cashier's desk in the casino and they gave us a "ticket" for the $ value in return.
