Promanade Rooms

Is there any problem with noise from the Royal Promanade with these rooms?

No--at least, nothing that should bother you. You may hear noise when the parades are going on...but it will be muted, and it's not during "sleeping" hours. The windows are double-paned and don't open.

That's good to hear as we just booked one of the PR rooms on the MOTS. We thought that as all the inside rooms are small (160'), at least we'll have a window, even if it's right across from a lot of other windows.

We love the PR rooms. We/ve booked our 3rd one on Indy. As the others have said, the only time you might hear something would be during the parades. They are great for people watching!

I also love the promenade rooms but if you're on the 6th deck and across from the pub you WILL hear the music every night. Also you will hear when they are announcing things, parades, parties, etc. It usually all ends between midnight - 1am at the latest.

Just remember to keep your drapes closed at appropiate times or you might be the entertainment :eek:...

The music from the pub drives right though the floor if you are directly above. Other than that we liked being on the Promenade. On a later cruise we booked on deck 7 and only got the sounds from the parade, etc. while they were occurring.
