If ship is tendered, how often do boats go back and forth?

We're cruising for the first time and when we're in Belize, we're not sure we want to stay off the ship for the whole day. After cave tubing, we'll probably just want to head back onto the ship. How often to the boats go back and forth? We'll be on RCI.

Thanks!

It is a long haul from the ship to the pier in Belize, but they generally have tenders constantly running because that's a lot of people to be ferrying back and forth. At some points there can be a wait for a tender back and that wait can be in the sun so be prepared.

They run the tenders continually while the ship is in port. So it depends on how long it takes to make the round trip. In Belize it can take awhile since the ship has to set so far off the port. They try to have at least one tender at the ship and one at the port at all times with others in transit. Hope this helps.
