2010-2011 winter brochure

I realize that but the brochure only goes up to April.

Therefore, if there is no three week gap from January to April then it will happen later in the year. ;)

As I recall, the ships leave and re-enter the roster in the vicinity of Barcelona.

This is usually a non-issue anyway, because the ships are so well maintained that it is hard to pinpoint what happened during the refit.

I totally agree with you. This will be my 3rd cruise on O and the 2nd on the Nautica.

There is an 11 day gap in Nautica's schedule in Barcelona between the arrival on May 24 from Athens and departure of the next cruise to Istanbul on June 4th (which I am on :)) I figured this was either a "mini" sprucing up or a private charter.

It is probably dry dock then

They usually go for 2 weeks the ship will be squeaky clean for you;)

or are the prices for the cruises in this catalog alot more expensive than in the past? LuAnn

It's very difficult to answer "are the prices more expensive?" as the only true measurement is to take identical cruises and compare one year to the next.Problem: Usually there are no identical cruises - and often changes are made as to the component parts of the cruise charges. (This year, water and soft drinks are now inclusive)Generally, one can compare "almost" similar cruises and come to the conclusion that prices are slightly higher. But then, what isn't?

But didn't Oceania change their pricing policy to include more taxes, etc in that initial price rather than getting sticker shock on the final total (Maybe I'm imagining things). That might account for higher brochure prices.
