Anybody used their Visa points

for 2 robes or 2 beach towels? I've cashed in and applied all of my points for my upcoming cruise, except about 5000 and I'm wondering if I should use these remainting points for the robes or beach towels or another $50 OBC. Any thoughts?

You mean you can either get a $50 OBC or PURCHASE towels/robes? If that's the case, get the OBC!

We have always opted for the OBC. It's nice to have money in your account when you arrive:)

Personally, I don't have need for souvenir towels or robes. I'd use it for the OBC.

If you take the robes, you have to haul the darn things back, too bulky. go for the OBC.

We have always cashed in our points for OBC or cruise credit. I think we get more use out of the points that way. A few certificates per cruise, and our bar tab is paid for the week!

I'd say go for the OBC.

We have gotten both the towels and the robes. The towels are not verygood, got runs, and wound up as trash towels. However we like the robes very well. We do not take them on the ships because we always get use of them there and they are bulky. But the ones we got are nice robes and we use them a lot. They came before we sailed.

 

I like OBC too but sometimes it is nice to get something just for fun.

If you get the robes just know that there are different ones available: some are the waffle-weave type and the others are terry.

Do you need robes or towels? If you do, get the robes or towels. If you don't, take the OBC.
