I have heard that someone at each cruise line does. I spoke to the Hotel Director on my last cruise and he reads it for fun since he said there is so much misinformation posted

Of course they do! Just don't give your name when discussing "illegal" activities! (Or, your sail date!)

Yes they do indeed. On our December cruise I mentioned, to an officer, that I missed the fruit punch to drink. Yes, he said, we're aware of passenger concern over this matter from our Cruise Critics reviewers!!!!

I think that there must one person here that reports all smuggling threads to Carnival. She hates the subject so much that she has created a fantasy world of her own rules to justify her attitude.;)

I know for a fact they do read these boards.

 

Last April on The Splendor when we were the first Carnival Cruise that could not go into Mexico, alot of people were talking about how there were over 200 of us from Cruise Critic on this Cruise. They were saying how Carnival better be making this right because it would be all over "those" boards.

 

Carnival does read and listen to this site.

It's both disturbing and inspiring that Carnival reads these boards. Good and bad.

 

Good in that they get great, unfiltered, feedback.

 

Bad in that they read the countless threads on smuggling.

BUT CC cruisers only represent a very small percentage of cruise passengers.
