flight from VCE

What is the earliest I should feel comfortable booking a flight out of VCE is my ship docks at 8:00am?

 

We are planning a few days in Venice before the cruise, so "stay and see Venice..." is not the answer we are looking for.

 

If it makes any difference it's a Saturday in July that the cruise ends.

Your cruise line probably has a recomendation of no sooner than noon. However, if you are going out of the European Union non-stop, your flight probably shouldn't be until after 1pm at the soonest.

As said above , it makes a difference if the flight is going from VCE non stop back to the USA OR if it is a flight to another EU city where you'll THEN catch a flight back to the USA.

IF it is going to the USA then you should make sure to be there earlier sooo I'd say not before 12 noon at the earliest.

We cannot tell exactly when you will get off the ship and the ride to the airport can take 30min. depending on traffic.
