ocngypz Posted March 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2010 Hello from Amsterdam: We had a safe journey down the river Ems and safely saw Eclipse into her berth in Emshaven early this morning. We are now in Amsterdam enjoying the city. The main dining room is "Moonlight Sonata" We've got the Weir boys, Simon and Nick onboard to bring her out. The ship is still much a work in progress. For last night's dinner we were able to sample some of the new offerings from QSine. Yum.............................. We've all had a great time.. enjoyed Mr Meyer's hospitality at the shipyard.. and as a special treat......................... we witnessed the cutting of the first steel for Silhouette! Chrisv94 Posted March 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2010 I'm looking to book the Eclipse for a three night trip to the Bahamas on Nov 17th. I want to take my 6 and 4 year old (who'll be 7 and 5) on a cruise but the last thing i want is them to struggle or not like it and be stuck for a week or more. Three nights should tell me all I need to know about how the kids take to crusing!

Equinox' MDR is called Silhouette (ship #4), And Eclipse's MDR is Moonlight Sonata...

I heard it would be sailing out of Boston.;) The only thing sailing out of Boston will be blasts from A-Rod and Texeria over the Mahnstah this year :D I'll tell you what, a Boston port for X would work just fine for me! Anything I can drive to works quite nicely. Plus I could visit all my relatives in Beantown!
ocngypz Posted March 15, 2010 Author #25 Share Posted March 15, 2010 What differences are there in colour schemes and artwork compared to the Solstice and Equinox? Color schemes........well hard to tell really since we were dealing with a construction zone. Muranos is in eggplant. Much of the hall and stairwell carpeting is blue.
