princess 2011 itineraries

Any one know when will Princess decide to post their 2011 itineraries from May 1 - December??? They posted them a few months ago and now have changed and you cannot book anything past April 30, 2011. Very frustrating and annoying since DD and fiance want to look into booking their honeymoon. Other cruise lines have already made theirs available.

Not regions are posted yet but as a general rule of thumb, they usually posted 14 to 18 month out.

Alaska will be ready for booking on May 13. Some other regions I believe will be ready on May 6. So just a little longer. The info is listed in the News section on the bottom of the homepage on Princess.com.

What other cruiselines or doing, or when they release their itineraries, has nothing to do with Princess. Princess itineraries are released during April and May and are not all released at once but rather are released according to the area of the world. The Alaska itineraries are being released 5/2. Not sure when the Caribbean itineraries are being released but it could be any time in the next month.

I believe your DD needs to look at options besides Princess for a Southern Caribbean itinerary on May 1. In April, Princess has 6 ships in the Caribbean, but all of them transition to other itineraries in late April or the first week of May. The Europe ships have been open for booking since Mar 25; the others were just recently announced (4/23 and 4/29) and will open this week and next (May 6 and 13, respectively) for booking. The closest they might come is something out of New York on the CB, but that will be more of an eastern/Bermuda itinerary, and the May 1 cruise is from San Juan to New York.

 

Here are the transition dates:

CB to New York on May 1

Crown to Europe on May 7

Emerald to Europe on April 27

Ruby to Europe on May 1

Star to Europe on May 3

Sea to Alaska on April 25

ok - thanks everyone!! They have decided since they can't find a suitable itinerary they like leaving May 1 2011 they will just do the Sandals resort at St. Lucia. Wherever they go I'm sure they'll have a great time.
