Barcelona: Airport to hotel

We will be arriving in Barcelona in the morning, and would like to be picked up at the airport and taken to our hotel. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that does such transfers? Thank you.

Taxis are plentiful and about 30 Euros to Las Ramblas area.

 

PS: To make is super simple, print out the name and address of your hotel and hand it to your driver. He may not speak English, but he can read!

Depending on where your hotel is, you might be able to take the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya, then walk to your hotel. Just follow the signage at the airport to the buses. It's about 5 Euro or so for the ride.

As mentioned, I would take a taxi and we have also done what suitetraveler mentioned which is to print off the name and the adrdress of the hotel.

Another option to consider is doing a tour on the morning you arrive in Barcelona. We are also arriving (on Saturday 6 Nov) at the BCN airport early in the morning, however, in addition to going directly to our hotel from the airport--(private tour company is meeting us at the airport then taking us to our hotel to drop off our luggage/valuables) then we are starting a 4 hour tour of Barcelona. Having not been to BCN before we will get a good primer on key BCN sights to see and then the next day have a better idea what we want to revisit or see on Sunday for the first time (altho on this day, 7 Nov, the Pope will be visiting BCN to consecrate the Sagrada Familia Church--thus normal touring activities(due to possible crowds) may be problematic.
