Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions and gorgeous views! Balcony Size? The cabin has plenty of storage space, a very large walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with storage space! The sofa turns into a very comfortable bed and there is plenty of room in each of the two sleeping areas. Any other comments? - I would definitely grab this cabin on Deck 8 again. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – This was a great cabin for being an obstructed view! Only half the balcony was blocked by a lifeboat and the other half was clear. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size balcony. Was wind a problem? - No, wind was not a problem. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A Any specific problems with this cabin? - No problems with this cabin. Any other comments? - The only possible issue I could see someone having would be the fact that there was an enclosed smoking area just below our cabin. Only once did I notice the smell of smoke and it was a cigar so wasn't that bad. Overall, I thought it was a great cabin for being an obstructed view. cruisinpoler Posted July 6, 2016 #764 Share Posted July 6, 2016 Ship -Brilliance Deck - 7 Stateroom # - 7672 Stateroom Category – 2-bedroom family suite Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – There was nightly noise from the Colony Club, but ended about midnight. Lots of squeaking/rattling on rough seas. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Aft Balcony. The quoted size is misleading, as a large portion of the balcony cannot be used because of the corner of the ship. The balcony was big enough for one lounge chair, a small table, and two regular chairs. It didn't seem much bigger than a balcony stateroom! Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal to undersized... but I have not been in another suite so not sure. Was wind a problem? -No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -I did't notice it, but our cabin steward said that it could be a problem. Any specific problems with this cabin? -It was nice. I felt like the space could have been better utilized for storage, but it was very roomy. Any other comments? -6 of us stayed here. 2 families. The first was a couple with a 4-year-old who co-slept, so they had the master bedroom. It was very large and had a luxurious bathroom with two sinks and a tub, a vanity, and a walk-in closet. My husband and I slept in the second bedroom, which was a bit tight but fine for sleeping. We are small people, so that could have worked in our favor. With the beds pushed together, you could walk around the sides, but you would have to bend over because of the two loft beds (even in their stowed positions). Two bedside tables and a normal closet in the second bedroom. The living area was very large and spacious (read- a lot of wasted space). There was a fold-out couch which our 17-year-old slept on, a TV on a cabinet with a fridge, an electronics cabinet (with a PS3 i think) and 3 small drawers. There was a vanity with 6 small drawers on the other side of the room, and a small dining table with 2 chairs. There were 2 additional chairs. The second bathroom was the same as a regular stateroom. I felt like they could have given some of the living space to the second bedroom and some to the balcony, so you could at least walk around the side. Also, bigger drawers and more storage would have been nice. All in all, it was nice and we had plenty of room. I am glad we booked the suite, because the amenities were very nice- daily happy hours in the Concierge club and priority tendering were my favorite perks. We were also allowed priority tendering FROM the port of Santorini, which was a huge deal since it was hot and the line was long! Priority disembarkation was nice too- we were led by our concierge through crew areas to get off of the ship. Also, the daily continental breakfasts and 24/7 access to espresso in the Concierge lounge were nice.

We had the white arms that lower the lifeboats below our balcony (and 7202) so there was no yellow lifeboat directly below. Neither the lifeboat or arms were an issue as they were a deck or two below. We had a full view of the ocean. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal sized balcony. Was VERY convenient, the bed was firm very comfortable. *Wind-only of you have sliding door open the same time front door is open. Caused a vacuum, only happened 1 time. :D:D CABIN REVIEW~~~~Hubby and I LOVED this room!! CLEAN-NEAT-NOT WORN- GREAT BED First off the room smelled good (through out the cruise), nothing was worn, a lot of storage space. BATHROOM a lot of storage space (I also brought one of those over the door organizers with the zippered pockets, I organized our toiletries in). BRING SOAP the bathroom only had shampoo, thank goodness I had soap from the hotel. There is a little chip off the bathroom sink, but that's definitely no biggie. Bathroom floor was not coming up, looked like new. The shower is a bit small, but it serves it's purpose. CLOSETS&DRAWERS- plenty of hangers (Dress hangers and pants hangers) you have the closet cubbies and 2 drawers on the left of the fridge to put stuff, also 2 tall cabinets in the right side of the mirror. We didn't even use all of our storage areas. LIVINGROOM/BEDROOM- Fold out couch, not very worn. We used it for sitting, the couch is between the closet and the bed. So plenty of room getting dressed, and moving around. It was kind of cramped when walking between bed and wall to balcony. But it works!!! Great lighting also lights are controlled form the bedside. You also have a light for your balcony. We brought a bungee cord thinking we might want to prop open the balcony door, we didn't need it. The door stayed open and when you close it turn the handle and it seals. It was too hot to sleep with the door open though. Maybe in December when we go back. BED- I have a bad back and the bed was GREAT!!! I slept better than I do in my bed. Soft because it had a foam topper, but yet firm. Pillows were some flat some big. I think whatever kind of pillow you like Benny the room steward will get it for you. He was great, he's there for you!!! BALCONY- Bigger than I thought it would be, came with 2 nice chairs (metal frames and mesh backing). A nice table for your coffee in the morning. When we go back in December, it'll be cooler and we can sit out there longer. There was no where to hang bathing suits on the balcony so we used the bungee cord and some clips, so nothing would blow off. The view was not bad, just if you try to look straight down there are lifeboats. But I can look between the life boats to see straight down. You can still see the waves made from the Oasis. This was our 1st balcony and I just loved it!!! ~~~Your room steward is Benny, he is great :-D He is there for you, anything you need Benny is your man!!!!! He is always so happy!!! BENNY!!
