Pretty good that I could cull it to 3 favorites, I took 200 in an hour!

Especially like the last one with the blue bench-lovely!

Beautiful granddaughter and great photo. No condolences from me regarding age, I'm probably right up there with you. LOL

Yesterday afternoon we welcomed our sixth (and likely final) grandchild into the world. Due to her delivery by c-section and her mom’s recovery period, we didn’t get to see her until she was a couple of hours old. Thankfully, all of the cute hadn’t worn off by then!

As you may have guessed, I used my camera and took more than one photo: http://galleries.pptphoto.com/hellojackie

At 2:01 PM on June 27, 2016, Jacqueline Claire LaBrucherie entered the world at 7 lbs, 2 oz and 19 inches long.

Kim celebrated the Fourth by going that extra mile and whipped up her noteworthy Eggs Benedict for breakfast. As I was taking the photo, I had a pang of apprehension about eating this dish on Independence Day but it went away after a quick web search confirmed that General Arnold had nothing to do with its origin.

Happy Fourth!

Batch #3 has finished its ten-day cure, been bathed in applewood smoke and is

ready for human consumption! A bacon and egg breakfast this morning will

hopefully prove the theory that we're getting better at the makin' of the bacon.

From smoked bacon to smoked city...

Shot from about a mile away, the sheer amount of smoke generated by this fire at an Ontario, CA recycling center is both amazing and a little scary. At least there were no reported serious injuries and nearby homes were not seriously damaged.

Saturday morning, heading out to one of my favorite birding spots, I saw something large, on top of the Mormon Temple in Orlando. The American Bald Eagle is ~125' up.
