Since I'm going to be here again in less than a week, I figured it would be apropos to post a few shots of when I was last there in December. It's my favorite other vacation next to cruising - Disney World! Many people go with their kids and race around hitting rides, never realizing that the parks are very photogenic places and a photographer can really appreciate the place in a different light when taking your time and looking for shots:

My husband and I are planning our first cruise. We will be sailing to Alaska in August and couldn't be more excited.

I am fairly new to photography, but it has thoroughly hooked me. I have been using my 50mm alot lately because I have been doing a lot of indoor photography. Here is an image I took today...

I am looking forward to spending sometime on this board. Enjoy your evening.

Welcome Jen, My two favorite things in life are cruising and photography. You should have some great picture taking opportunities in Alaska!

Did you move far? "Around the corner" looks pretty

Thought you had been very quiet lately ... good to have you back! :)

Ooh - eagles! Very nice. I'm still jealous of people who get great eagle shots since I'm such an avid bird photographer - because I still haven't seen one (since my photography took hold at least, the past 10 years or so).

We saw more than a dozen eagles yesterday just north of Seattle. There are some that live there year round, but many more migrate down for the winter. This one was sitting on a electric utility pole and I was parked under the eagle and shot these through my open sunroof!

Come up to Seattle in April and visit Mt Vernon to see eagles and tulips!

We relocated for a new job...2285 miles from California to Georgia.

Big hassle, but they have fall colors here!

I thought that pano looked more like east than west. My first thought was that it looked just like a park here in Virginia a few miles away from me. My DH is from GA. You will find lots of beautiful places to practice your art there. I'm sure that it is a big change for you though!

All taken on vacation last week. Boy, I really do get around in a week, don't I?! :)

Beautiful images of the world showcase. I especially like the night shots. I love all the photo ops at Disney...

I was driving across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on Sunday evening on the way home from the Outlets and with a little luck, I timed it at just about right for Sunset. There was quite a bit of cloud cover but the sun peaked-out at just the right time. Picture taken with the iPhone 4.
