Back to Back cruises?

How are 14 day cruises handled. It looks like NCL is selling a 7 day cruise out of Venice and a 14 day cruise. If I book the 14 day cruise will I have to get off the ship after the first week and reboard all over again. what about the cabin would I have to change cabins as well. Has anyone done these cruises and what is your experience.

Thanks for the info..

I have done back to back cruisees but not on NCL.

When you do back to back cruises in ports that do not involve the USA at the end of the first cruise or beginning of the next cruise the turn around day for those remaining on the ship is like any day in port. You can come and go as you please. You do not have to get off the ship unless you want to.

As to the room, at the time you do your booking ideally you want to find a room that you can have for both cruises so the key is to book early. If you have two different rooms then your items will have to be moved to the new room. While the staff will assist you moving everything it still is preferable to avoid this.
