What dining decisions are people making? I am assuming we will do flexible dining since this itinerary will keep us busy everyday - right up to sailing time :D

 

I was kind of thinking the same thing. We've only done anytime dining one other time when they first offered it. We weren't real happy with it, but maybe they have gotten a little better at it. We are doing the anytime dining on our Splendor cruise in September so we'll see how we like it then.

When Mom and i did it on the Spirit last year to Alaska we did the any time dining.. and it was great! Though i think for Mom i'll pick the early dinning so she gets to experience traditional dining too!

We prefer early too. We like to get done with dinner early so we have a enough time to party the rest of the night. Most of the time we hang out at karaoke and the piano bar (if it's not too smoky).

As I mentioned, I didn't want to just transfer the whole list from the other thread to here in case some people changed their minds. I know from past experience that people say they're "interested" in a group cruise, but then don't book (for whatever reason). I knew you'd be along. :D

Sandy what category did you book? What is your or anyone elses experience with the guarantee cabins. Dont want to be all the way to the front and dont want to be under a noisy area .... what does everyone else think opinions welcome please.:D

With group and the 25.00 deposit, you are guaranteed that category but no location until you change to full deposit. The sooner you switch to full deposit you can choose what they have left. Earlier switching gets the best cabins, the longer you wait the worst the cabin location will be. 25.00 sounds good on the surface but it won't be if you wait too long. Having said that though, I would be happy to sail that cruise in a broom closet. I've done it before on Celebrity and RCI, both times were fabulous, hopefully Carnival will be OK.

 

By the way, how long does it take to get pricing. I've sent email but have not heard anything back.
