Kids/Cabins

Hi everyone, I have tried searching this question and didn't find exactly what I was looking for, so here I am.

I am planning our first cruise for our family of four (kids will be 18 and 12 at time of cruise). I have been spending a lot of time looking for a cabin that will house all four of us, then I realized, if we are paying for each person, we can get two cabins for the same price as one, correct?

Thanks in advance!

Not necessarily...3rd and 4th are usually at "discounted" rates! However, call the cruiseline (or TA) and price it both ways...if you can do 2 connecting cabins (or even cabins that are side by side or across the hall), it will greatly enhance your cabin time! Privacy is a good thing!

I agree with above posts. Call cruiseline and price two cabins verses one cabin with four in it. Look at how much space you will have with four people; or how many bathrooms u can get; adjoining rooms would be a good option.

Our next cruise--the 3rd and 4th passenger rate is only 299. (our rate is over 700.) so for a cruise like that-- putting 4 in a room will be a lot cheaper.

Depending on the price it may be cheaper to book 2 cabins. especially if you get a balcony and the kids get inside cabins across the hall.

(our last cruise it was only 200 more to get the two cabins.
