There were no OS's available when I called, or I would have tried to snag one of those!!!

Yes I told my best friend who I am cruising with - it was WAAAAY to good a secret to keep!! :p

oops, I meant GS. Hey, maybe my typo means something. Maybe you will be walking into a OS when you get onto the ship!!;):p

Jilly - the price difference between the JS and the GS at the exact time I upgraded was JS $1229 for a guarantee or $1477 for a selected cabin. The GS was $1929 per person.

I doubt I will get an OS as they are all sold out.....BUT

The Royal Suite is still showing as available!!!! :p:p

Does that number work for diamond members or do you have to be diamond plus?

This is where I got the # to call......looks as if I called the # that is reserved specifically for D+ customers....

Diamond Plus members and their travel agents can contact a Loyalty Specialist within 14 days of their departure to select an amenity and arrange timing for delivery to either their stateroom or dining room by calling (800) 526-9723 and pressing 9 at any time during the greeting message. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. (ET).

cpmgrats Robyn, that is AWESOME!!! The reserved pool seats are a wonderful perk of suites. We also loved being able to order anything--LOBSTER--from room service. anymore, we don't do the MDR much.

Are y'all going to LAbadee? barefoot beach is also a wonderful perk of being in a suite. Also there is nice seating reserved, unitl 5 or 10 minutes before the show starts. On Liberty it was upstairs--just watch out for the non-suite people crawling over you whenever they open up the seating to everyone. there was almost a fight right by us as 2 different parties tried to get the same seat & neither were going to budge

ENJOY

Wow! Ordering lobster from room service????? Very COOL :D

I have late seating, so I could order up a few lobster as an appetizer around 7:00pm ;)

I just found out about the reserved area on Labadee....apparently there are cabanas there too, are they free for suite guests or do you have to pay extra?

yep, you can order anything from the regular menus for room service!!!!

cabanas are not free. I think, not sure tho, the water level ones are $1200 and the ones back from the water are $150.

When we went to Labadee on Liberty it was AFTER the formal night where lobster was served and we had grill;ed lobster on labadee!!!! It was soooooo good. on Liberty they said that if they go to Labadee before lobster night, they don't have lobster in barefoot beach!!!!!

I am so happy for you Robyn. WE have called before and asked about upgrading, but never had what you had happen!!!!! We have been blessed to be upgraded a couple of times, but since more and more we go on longer cruises, there are always LOTS of D+s on board & many that have more credits than us. We are grateful for the few times the upgrade fairy visited us.

$1200??????? That is almost what we paid for the GS!!!!:p I will have to settle for a towel on the beach like everyone else!

Not sure when lobster night is on the FOS, but grilled lobster on the beach sounds delish - I could wash it down with a Labadoozie! :)

TYPO TYPO TYPO, sorry about that. it is $200 for water level and 150 for hills level. sorry.

on liberty it was the day before Labadee which was on the way back from Eastern Carib. the day after Labadee was the last day. I looked at your itinerary and y'all go to Labadee early on, so sorry:(. it WAS awesome tho

Congratulations and enjoy the Grand Suite. That is an amazing upgrade. I would love to see it.

Although it is technically a paid upgrade, having to fork out $10 more for a GS was amazing!!!

Keep checking prices, and remember it never hurts to call and ask!!!:p
