tote bags...do they still give them out

I am leaving tomorrow morning 5a.m. just finishing packing. quick question... does HAL still give out the little canvas tote bag? I will be packing the one I got in 2007 if they don't, as it's perfect for a couple of books, etc.

The first segment we got the regular canvas bag.

 

On the second segment we got a canvas Mariner bag -- really nice.

Yes -- we got the luggage tags sometime in October while we were on the Ryndam.

We got ours on a 12-day cruise of the Nieuw A ... not a Collector's or anything special. Maybe you have to sail on the N.A. to get one?

We were on the NA for 20 days and only got the regular cotton ones. So I don't the think the Nieuw Amsterdam is the answer on this one.

We got very nice blue plasticised ones on the Eurodam TA in August/09. I have not seen them given out since.

We got one of those blue plasticised bags some time ago. I can't remember when. On our last cruise, a Collector's Cruise over Thanksgiving on the Westerdam, we recieved the usual canvass bag on the first part and the Mariner's bag on the second part. We have not recieved the luggage tags. We are going on another Collector's Cruise over Christmas/New Years - we'll see what happens then.

Good question.

On the last evening of our second cruise -- we were having cocktails with a couple that we met and she got one of the new Mariner bags -- and they did not do a Collector's cruise. There were lots of Mariner's on our cruise and very few got the new bags.

We used to get the blue plastic bags as well whenever we did back-to-back cruises. Got them on the second part of the cruise. This was before they started what is now called the Collector's Cruises. Last one we got was back in Feb 2009.

We just got off a collectors cruise on the Maasdam. We got the regular canvas bags on the first leg and the Mariners bag on the second leg. On the third leg I asked the front desk for another one of the Mariner bags and it was delivered to our cabin the next day. They can be sooo accomadating.
