Island Princess:Emerald Deck E326: feedback

I am going on my fifth cruise in Jan.(third on Princess) to the Panama Canal. I booked an obstructed view category F E326 on the Emerald Deck on the Island Princess. I am excited about the trip but not sure of the cabin. Always stayed on a balcony and loved it. Booked an obstructed view because of the price and thinking of up grading to a balcony.

Read reviews about noise and not sure how much of an obstruction there is. If anyone stayed in this cabin would appreciate feed back.

If upgraded to a balcony it would be on same deck but over the theater.

If anyone stayed in a balcony in this area would appreciate feed back about this.

Well it looks like a zodiac hanging in front of the window but you will get some light not as bad as the cabin with the lifeboats

If you are looking for a view you may want to change cabins

We've been booking obstructed view cabins on Princess to save money and avoid smoky balcony neighbors. Most have had pretty good views if you position yourself right. We've never had a completely obstructed view.

 

When we were over the theater, the noise did not bother us. But if you're one who likes to go to bed early and noise bothers you, you'll probably want a different location.
