Question - we're booked for the back to back cruise beginning on July 24th. Other than the tram trip in Flan, do we need to book any ship's tours or can we do it on our own?

Kirk also frequents the ports of call as do many other very knowledgeable cruisers. If you scroll down to ports of call, you will get a lot of help. Just go to where your itinerary applies.

As well, your roll call can help, they may be trying to arrange tours which you might want to join in on.

hope this helps a bit. have a great cruise :):)

You will be able to do a lot of things on your own on the Norwegian fjords, but I do not know how experienced you are doing things in foreign countries! Everybody in Norway speaks excellent English, so language is no problem.
