If you have had a Guarantee stateroom in a category that is "C" for closed, what has been your experience? Have you ended up with a stateroom in that category or upgraded?

I have never seen a "Closed" category.

 

I have seen "Waitlist" if there are not even guarantee cabins available in a category.

 

But, to answer your question. If you have a GTY reservation, you could end up in the category you booked or be upgraded.

 

Only the upgrade fairy knows which passengers her wand will touch.
