budamom Posted April 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2011 We've booked 8390 and 8392 for a cruise on the Navigator. Does anyone know if the balcony dividers can be opened? Thanks!
Coralc Posted April 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2011 I don't think the aft balcony dividers open on any of the ships.
jujucruisegirl Posted April 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2011 I don't think the aft balcony dividers open on any of the ships. We had 8690 and 8692 on NOS in January. They do not open. They look like they are welded shut.
cb at sea Posted April 26, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2011 The aft balconies are large enough to fit everyone....they don't need to be opened!
aloha of the seas Posted April 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2011 I was in an aft balcony on the Grandeur and I needed someone to reconnect the divider. Just a couple of screws that were taken out for the preceding cruise.
Coralc Posted April 26, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2011 I was in an aft balcony on the Grandeur and I needed someone to reconnect the divider. Just a couple of screws that were taken out for the preceding cruise. We also had the side balcony dividers opened on Grandeur (several years ago, out of NOLA)...6 cabins in row. But they are heavy and they swing from side to side. So we know they open on Grandeur (aft too), but the OP is sailing on Navigator, and I think they are out of luck. :)
will773 Posted April 26, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2011 I was just on the Navigator last week. We had two cabins on Deck 9 (not aft), and they wouldn't open our balcony dividers. I'm not sure if this is usual or not, but they said no.
