Rare Keith1010 Posted April 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Hi welcome to Cruise Critic. It would be helpful if you could post the port that you are going to. Also there is a port of call board on cruise critic so if this is in Florida you can post the question there but do include the port/city name. firefly333 Posted April 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2011 The florida departures board should have more info, though there arent many ships, just the one from your port. Look for a hotel that has free cruise parking. I would not park at the port, as its very expensive.

ILoveScotland Posted April 25, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Another option since you'll be driving a long distance and probably staying overnight near the port before you cruise is to find out if there are any hotels in the area with a "stay and cruise" package like a lot of airport hotels have "stay and fly" package. I'm doing this in Charleston next month, and it means I can leave my car at the hotel and be taken by shuttle to the ship and picked up when I return without the hassle of parking at the port.
